The REASON why LFC fans were singing YNWA at 2-0 is because it's the club anthem and seen us through difficult times in the past and will see us through again.

Some of your points are good mate but their lost in your vitriolic bitter and "sack em all" philosophy  ???

Liverpool lose a game and it's out with the double barrels as far as your concerned. I TOO predicted on page 2 of the thread you refer to that I feared we wouldn't go through but I'm a  SUPPORTER who SUPPORTS my team not some ego centric wannabee who never misses the opportunity to stick the boot in ........ :suspect:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that Fowler had his third goal disallowed. Yeah, the ball really did go out of play, but still, at least he knows how to get the ball in the net. I think he should have started.

Oh well, Benfica played well, and on the radio here in Malaysia, I keep on hearing "and Simao showed the reason why Liverpool wanted to buy him". *Ouch*

and he loves his spanish players like morientes he must be able 2 see him doin somthing we cant see him doing

Bóllocks. Did he stick to Josemi? I don't care you know little football or a lot, I'll read happily your input, but please do not even think you know what's going on on people's mind. You simply do not know it.

And the bit about his disliking of french, just the same.

Ok, no problem, but bear in mind that I've read the same thing being said totally seriously by some posters :)

The most normal reason to stick to Morientes, must be seen in the work that is done through out the week in the training grounds. I've known few coaches that do put worse options than the best available after the work of the week, and I've seen foreign coaches here.

It's true, Morientes is not scoring in games, but I'm pretty sure that if  tonight Rafa relied on him, it's because Crouch and Morientes are the best of the lot in the training work.

I don't know about that. They are to similar and seem to follow each other for the same ball and have no pace between them. So they can't be hitting the net in training either.mind boggles, Why do you honestly think he is not giving cisse a chance.

So ....why dont you go and support Stockport county then, because they have supporters who like to support through thick and thin!

You seem to forget what LFC is about. YNWA ...to see em through bad times? oh the poor little lambs! with thier mansions, aston martins and 50k a week. I could have played better then moro or kewell tonight and i only charge £100 for the priviledge.

Certain players do need to be shown the door, only strikers mainly.

you cannot defend that performance dalglish surely?

get a grip. :lookaround

No its not.

this is an ongoing problem.

Since new year, Crouch has scored 1 goal, Cisse and Moro Zero!

Is THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR LFC THEN IN YOUR BOOKS?

come back when you know what football is about!

Because Cisse knows finishing as Morientes and Crouch know, but he doesn't seem to hold the ball , control and deliver it. And That's something that Rafa seems to be insisting much on (too much). That type of play has given the chance to long shots to Alonso and Gerrard, and they scored goals.

Cisse doesn't know doing that. His control is bad, when he receives a ball he puts the foot and doesn't retire it a bit, thus, of course the ball bounces 1 metre away, it's amazing how he doesn't improve that part of the game, you can improve it hitting the ball against a wall in two weeks.

Look how he runs with the ball, too. Stu thinks that Gerrard is not technical, and he's not good in dribbling. Well he's not excellent in dribbling but look how he conducts the ball, always the ball stick to his feet, if you want to tackle him, chances are that you'll make a foul. Cisse doesn't do this well, neither, thus his speed is useless.

In a team that plays pure counterattack, with lots of space, CIsse might be a deadly player, but not in a team that is dominating all the game, you need players who know controling the ball and moving in little spaces if you ask me.

I think we're not winning games, simply, because we are not being patient enough. Bar$a had no shame, to look, think, and if they did not find a spot, send the ball back to start again. And if a player like Messi or Ronaldinho knows doing that, I think Kewell should aswell (Kewell, for instance).

Yeah sound about right that Sabre!! He is not a team player and his dribbling and touch is shambolic.I think you have hit the nail on the head, with in an attacking team he is no use.Unless we are 4 nil up and hitting on counter attack, then he is no good to the team with his poor technical abilty. Good point!!!!!  :bowdown

Absolutley spot on about Cisse Sabre.

He's not a bad player, but he lacks the required techncial ability to make it at a top club in one of the big leagues in Europe. He'd look hopelessly out of his depth if you threw him into that Barcelona team.

I'm not going to rise to your obvious inability to see the bigger picture Hustler.............neither to your cheap shots about my knowledge of football which co-incidentally I don't go on a big EGO trip about like you on here ......

Your not Einstein mate cos you identify where the problems lie........ (strikers and goal ratio's).

Anybody with an hole in their :censored: can see that the strikers aren't producing the goods. Whats your solution ? Sack the lot of them and buy BIG in the summer  :Oo: Unless £27 million doesn't count as big in your book we already did that  buying Cisse, Morientes and Crouch ???

i thought i would go to bed and sleep before i came on here and had my say, i hoped my head would clear and i would not be angry anymore. how wrong i was.

this defeat lies at the feet of the manager in my opinion. he let the wrong players go on loan and kept the players firing blanks (dont say im talking with hindsight because the fact is when they went on loan we already a this problem).

we go into a game needing a goal so we player the player least likely to score it, nando. then we suddenley need 3 goals, what does rafa do? absolutely nothing until about half an hour left, then he brings fowler on, in my opinion our only chance of doing anything last night with 20 minutes to go and expects him to turn the game.

rafa sort your head out, i dont know half as much about football as you but even i know that nando was not going to cut it last night. if i didnt know better i would have guessed u wanted us to get knocked out with the team you picked last night. unbelievable.

ciggy i agree 100% that in 33 years now of watcing the reds this forward line is laughable. i posed once that we dont have a hero, we always had a quality goal getter, lets hope fowler can turn into that for us before its too late because the others we have will never be prolific
