LIVERPOOL VS BIRMINGHAM - All the build up..................

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I wouldn't start Agger tonight against Sutton. Hopefully Sutton will play centre half as they're having problems in that position. :)

birmingham are pitiful away from home. they've lost seven out of their last eight on their travels. they won't be fancying coming to anfield, where only chelsea have scored in the league this season.

incidentally, tonight is our 40th game of the season already. :O

Im counting the hours down, shame i've got to listen to it on the radio though. Dont think i've looked forward to a game this much in years (not including CL Final) I never thought i'd see it again, GOD in the red of LFC, after he left in 2001.

Come on Robbie, do us proud!

They have been having problems lately and their 2 main centre backs are out injured!
Theres also a new player making his debut tonight...he should enjoy the atmosphere when God comes on!!
We should really win this game comfortably,id say 3 or 4 !!
But we cant be sure what team Raffa will start with,he'll suirely rest a few ! Either way a comfortable win will be the only outcome!

Why the fecks it not on TV,i dont think its even the main feature on 5 live either!!

Can any wizzkid come up with a stream that works and not a blurry piece of wa.nk that freezes every 5 seconds for about half a day??

Would be much appreciated!! :nod

Kromkamp on the right? Can't agree with that either.

Got no one else have we if Hyypia or Carra get injured? Aggers not 100% fit yet, and Kromkamp on the right cause Gerrard needs to be back in the middle he's gettin p.issed off outwide, I also think sissoko should sit this one out and bring Hamann back into the frame. If Pongolle is staying and not going on loan Id like him to start with Crouch if Fowler doesnt.

I ain't having that he's getting :censored: off out wide. He's had his best season in our shirt playing out there and consistently scoring goals.

Agger might only be 80% fit, he's still better than Traore. I'd rather see Hamann at centre half than Traore.

As for Kromkamp, he's right back, not a right winger. Two very different positions and i hate it when managers play full backs in midfield because they have "attacking qualities".

Our best side is simple, thats what should play:

              Crouch     Fowler
Kewell      Alonso     Sissoko    Gerrard
Riise        Hyypia    Carragher  Finnan
                     Reina

Subs:
Carson
Warnock (Luis Garcia if fit)
Kromkamp
Hamann
Sinama-Pongolle

The only possible other selection i'd take would be Morientes or Sinama instead of Robbie.

that would be immense

Barry- you should download WINAMP- it tends to be a great connection and a pretty good picture too.

Fowler will almost certainly be on the bench.

Can you imagine the noise in that place when he gets called to the touchline though...it's making hairs stand up on the back of my neck just thinking about it. :D
