LIVERPOOL VS BIRMINGHAM - All the build up..................

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Fowler not match fit and lack sharpness? hehe.....i think he played last week and scored goals. He should start this game. And cisse replaced him with 15 minutes to go.  like ciggy said, hamman should replace sissoko in the middle.

Personally I think the boost the crowd will get if Robbie starts would convince me to start with him.  He probably won't last the whole game, but I'd start with him rather than end with him.  The rest of the team picks itself at the moment, although I'd also try to get Agger on the pitch at some point if he's fit enough.

there is no end product with him he just looks to hit and run to the line, he has the touch of a rapist

It's really offensive what you have typed there.  Couldn't you have used a better description?

what are you on about Cisse has generally been poor this season, Crouch has been good and contributed to the team in nearly all the games he has played in.

have you brushed your teeth?

as for cisse, i would say the latest match was one of his best display on the right wing, he made some succesfull penetration and passes. his 'hair' is better too.

crouch has been good, but in the last 5 games can u honestly say hes helped out a lot in the team?

cisse on the right wing has got the pace, we need to work on his first touch, which is slightly poor

Cisse's done more than Crouch in the last 5 games? ???

Crouch has had a slight dip in form recently but he's still been far more effective than Cisse.  Apart from luck going against us, the fact that Crouch had to come off with half an hour to go against United is probably what lost us the game, he'd been linking midfield and attack very well and when he was withdrawn our attack had no focus.  His all-round game is far superior to Cisse's, who is nothing more than a speed-merchant with no football brain who plays for himself and not the team.

The sooner we are rid of Cisse the better.  He never was and never will be good enough for LFC.  Fact.

Let's write him off as Houllier's final parting expensive mistake and move on.  How people can defend him after his constant underperforming and general bad attitude is beyond me.

thats total rubbish and i think u know it. cisse fed the goals a few game ago and looked dangerous last night. the manure game everyone was a disgrace but cisse on the right is gonna work, you'll see this on wednesday. Crouch is a good addition, i dont deny that, but hes hardly a revelation for us.

I know rubbish when I see it mate.  And he's the current LFC number 9 unfortunately.

As for playing him on the right wing - absolute nonsense.  He's not got a good first touch at all - a previous poster summed it up in quite a crude way earlier on.  He can beat a man with pace, but has no idea how to cross a ball or perform any of the defensive duties required of a right midfielder.

I will be absolutely amazed if he is at Liverpool next season.

Crouch hardly a revelation?  Our midfield wouldn't have scored half as many goals this season without Crouch's excellent ability to hold the ball up front, win free kicks and bring others into play.  Considering the form of Cisse and Morientes this season, we'd have been in big trouble without Crouch, so I definitely would call him something of a revelation this season considering half the people on this forum thought we'd bought a donkey for 7 million.

Dawson you're talking rubbish mate.

Cisse's a poor excuse for a player and to suggest he's offered more than Crouch is a shocking statement. The only thing Cisse offers is the other team possession of the football. He's absoloutely shocking in possession. I don't think he's passed the ball to a Liverpool this season... ???

Lad you're wasting your time arguing with people like this. To be honest i don't know why i bother myself.

They clearly can't see what happens and don't understand the game.
