Your missing the point St Mike. You mention the media overglorifying players such as Lampard, Ljunberg and such like because they score goals. Not being funny and I dont know about the rest of the forum but I wouldn't mind having a few regular goal scoring midfielders.
Also. No, it wasn't the right time to sell him, I think he should be at least on the bench even now.
