Murphy was a good servant to the club no doubt about it. Great professional, and a true red. The best of luck to him. In terms of ability, I would say the kind of clubs that wanted to take him is maybe a marker.

I wish Danny all the best, a player who gave his all for the club and played above himself for so long. He deserves a first team place in the premiership and i fully expect him the but a regular in the England set up for years to come.

I really think we are making a stupid mistake dont you?

Time will tell I suppose but even speaking as a Danny Murphy admirer myself I think the writing was on the wall even last season.

Danny Has made more substitute appearances than any other Liverpool player and even had GH stayed i think his position was vulnerable.

Good luck to the lad though , a loyal servant to LFC and appreciated his many performances in a  Red Shirt ....
