Hey guys, a question of tactics that I don't get and doesn't deserve a new thread:
Why do English teams traditionally defend the corners with ONE man in the second post, instead of two? I mean I don't know if that has changed, since I have seen a couple of teams putting two men defending the corner in the goalie, but that is not what it was usual.

Corner Goalie X English defender
kick
That's to say, we put one X in the first, and another in the second. English used to put just one in the second, is it still that way? what is Reina commanding to do? (didn't realize last match)
A friend of mine says that the first man in the post just quits visibility to the goalie, but I don't agree -- have seen saved many goals under the goal by that player.
Thank you in advance
