Why some people include the Charity shield as a "title" is beyond me sometimes. I remember the time when Houllier was facing the sack, he used to repeat frequently and remind all that he had won SIX cups during his tenure. 6? He even included the charity shield (and Supercup) for goodness' sake.

ON a seperate note, can anyone enlighten me what's a first option on a player. That seems to be what we have on Owen.

Does that mean that Madrid will have to ask us whether we want Owen back before they can sell him to anyone else? If that's so, how do they determine the transfer price ?

His chloice is Liverpool FC if you  can believe the press
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Even Lyon are in for him with Houllier there. And they have just recieved a huge sum of money thanks to us so they will easily out bid you.

But at the end of the day its Owens choice.

which site or paper is that from??

First option means.

If Madrid want to sell Owen and Liverpool have 1st option - Madrid will talk to Liverpool and say "Yo .. we dont want MO .. we would like to sell him we want X$$, if you cant pay that much then we will move on and accept offers from other clubs".

so .. if an agreement is reached with Liverpool MO will return, however if the price is not right Madrid will sell elsewhere. But they HAVE to ask Liverpool before they decide to look elsewhere.

Benetez says --

"We have six strikers now," Benitez told Prem Plus.

"And I am thinking about a centre-back rather than a centre-forward. At the moment we only have Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher and they can't play every game.

"There is going to be more competition than ever for places this season and Owen plays in a position where there are a lot of players," Butragueno told the club's official website.

"He is an excellent professional who showed last season that he can come off the bench and score lots of goals.

"Several clubs are interested in signing him and we will have to see what happens over the course of the next two weeks.

"He is an important player for us."

Newcastle United are known to be chasing Owen, but it is not clear whether the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are genuinely in the race to bring him back to The Premeirship.

Listen Mr. Judge F.aRk.

Im posting information related to Mr. Owen's transfer. Im not posting PM's ment for you. If people have a problem with me they will say so and I will be banned from this site.

I do not post anything negetive, I post netural stuff and my own opinions, I challange people to speak of their opinions and give good reasoning for them - all in the spirit of good conversation. Many have said they enjoy reading my posts, therefore I continue to visit the site.

As for interesting posts, im yet to read one by you.

anyway, you know nothing of lfc. and as for chelseas glory, its been one season in fifty. chelsea reckons they are a big club. they are a mediocre club that NOW have virtual unlimited funds. it wont be long before the bubble bursts, and believe me, your kind of buying and style will come crashing down to earth with a large bump my friend.

i dont dislike you at a persoanl human level, i just hate your club thats all

Real can offer him to anyone they want - If he doesn't want to go then the deal's off. As soon as we come out and say that there's no place for him at Anfield he will wait for an offer from us to be made. HE wants to be here, Thank God !

... and again you go back to childish banter. Your posts are full of rants and have no substance. All you talk about is Roman and Money and Bubble bursting. Take your mindless ideas and shove them up your rear.

I have nothing against your club, but on a personal human level I think you are a juvenile who can only talk tras.h, has no debating qualities, can provide no reasoning and has shown no knolowdge of the game as a whole.
