Everton are playing Chelsea, so if we want to close the points gap we are not going to get a better chance (except when Everton come to Anfield obviously). It might be a lot better for us if Steven Gerrard is not playing for England midweek.

it's all down to a disciplined preformance. no need for the fancy passing stuff ( like luis garcia and gerrard vs. fulham) just keep it simple, direct ( garcia to mori vs.fulham) and we'll get back to where we belong. hamann plays the game like it shd be done fancy stuff shd be kept way up field in the opponents D and we'll be alright..
whatever happens it's a long way to go guys... league cup final, champs league and the premiership (3rd) u neva know...

Birmingham will be extremely difficult. As much as this game is a must win for us its a must win for them because they're in danger of falling into the bottom and have only picked up 3 points out of their last six games so they will be playing at their best.

But on our good day they shouldn't stop us from collecting the points we need. It will be difficult but we will win this one for sure.

I think it will be a very tough game for us. At home they are a decent outfit and you can bet that if fit, Heskey will have one of his two good games of the season. I'd take a point all day long.

Hate to say this. But keep thinking we might slip up in this game.

2 reasons.....

1)pennant
2)pandiani

Brimingham also played pretty well against the scums (for all that is worth).

Saying all this. Hope we win though. But a draw will be a good result seeing how blue sh1t will almost surely get beaten.

my team.

                      Dudek
      Finnan   Carra    Hyppia   Traore
      Nunez    Hamann Gerrard   Riise
                Mori             Baros

subs
1)La Tellac
2)Smicer
3)Biscan
4)Pelle
5)Carson

We will win because of 4 reasons

1. Morientes
2. Baros
3. Gerrard
4. Riise

So two players will beat Liverpool's starting eleven?

Dudek
          Finnan                                 Traore
                    Hyypia      Carragher
                          Hamann
         Garcia                                Riise
                          Gerrard

              Morientes        Baros

If this is the team that we put out against the Brum, we should have no problem. Rafa knows the score and I think we will see 3pts again. I'll say 2-1.

Ace, Garcia is suspended for this game so it will be probably Nunez who plays or even La Tallec.

Fine with me. If le Tallec has been looking good while in france, that's cool and Nunez has his good moments too. I thought Garcia's suspension was up, but ok. He should be fresher for some of the really big games coming up. If only we kept Diouf...

When exactly did you see Nunez have a good moment ?  :D

If Garcia's not playing I'd try Le Tellac to be honest
