Says he learned from sir bobby-says attacking football home or away,    PASSION

Porto goalkeeper baia (played for barca) says murinho is the best manager he has played for.

Isnt keen to leave porto as they do everything to make him happy but realises that oppertunities come along once in a life time and he has to take them.

says he will likely be in england next season...

Where did I read "Barcelona are a top four European team" ? LMFAO. I take little notice of people with obvious bias - like Bolton fans claiming Compo is "better than Hamann" and "world class" :O It's also funny how manu fans rate van diver better than Henry - did you see his FA Cup goals shown as part of the build-up to the final? Most if not all were scored from close range and with little chance of missing, I think the penalty spot was as far away or difficult as his goals got

Is there any chance even a small one, now dont laugh but is there any possibility of Erricson Taking over at Liverpool after euro 2004.  Or Is their any other manager in that tournament who may become available after its over.  Believe it or not I ask for very good reason, my old double talking insider again.

Have you heard his post match analysis? "in the first half we played good.....In the second half.... not so good" Ok,not much of a reason but it makes sense after a few pints of Bulmers.

Owzat, I'm beginning to think that "the lady doth protest too much" with you and Martin O' Neill!!

Come off it, not everybody here that supports O' Neill are mindless zombies that listens and believes everything the media tells them. I have gone toe to toe with you countless times in the past over O' Neill and without getting into it again I think I (and plenty others here) put our case for O' Neill to you as best we could.

Fair enough if you think otherwise, but we O' Neill supporters are entitled to our opinions as well!!

You have made some valid points for the case AGAINST O' Neill which I partly accept, but sometimes I get the impression that you have some personal loathing of the man!

Anyway, all of this is moot because most rumours have it that O' Neill is not in the running for the Anfield job.

Again my candidates in the absence of O' Neill are Mourinho and Benetiz: either would be fantastic.

I hope we are writing MON off too soon.Parry and Moores have finally woken up to fan power with the sacking of GH.Can they be so mightily off message when it comes to support for O`Neill?

O'Neill is my choice, he is the one in charge and he makes that clear to everyone including the board, and he takes no sh*t from his players, its perform or go no matter who you are

Mourihno for me, I think O'neill would be a bad choice, Curbishly would be my second choice.
Football is a simple game, all you have to do is pass the ball to a player in a red shirt.

There can only be one manager out there that has the proven record to bring us back to the top of European Football. A man who's hunger and passion, not to mention motivational skills are second to none. A man who made a bad team good, and a good team, great! A man who can take us bnack to where we belong..Summit of England, summit of Europe..
That man's name is Martin O'Neill. No international mercenaries please!!!!!!
A man who know's what it means to manage a team like Liverpool, what is expected, what is demanded!
Martin O'Neill, it has to be. A modern manager with the ability of Shanks!!

Im suprised no ones mentioned fabio cappello, hes being saying for a couple of years that he would like to manage in England, and with his roma team beaking up in the summer for financial reasons now would be the time to take him.

Hes probably one the best managers in world football, hes won everything in italy and a title in spain. The other thing that makes him an a good option to me is the speed at which he has brought success to his teams, real madrid won the spanish title in his first season, roma in his second season, i reckon he could do the same for liverpool.

capello would be suited to chelsea but not to liverpool imo and i'll tell you why.

appointing capello would be the equivalent of buying a brand new bentley. you could never take it to your local garage could you?

the guy is way too expensive and he would no doubt want complete contorl over all transfers and dealings within the football club. i don't think that is what liverpool need right now.

He is class but he teams are usually expensive. It all depends if the board will back him. They might get nervous throwing money at another manager after GH. They may give  the new boss about £10-15 million first season and see what sucess he has in the first half of the season and a bit more in January.
