Well it's near the end of the 05/06 season and Rafa's been fantastic again. But who is the best of the rest? I'm going for Jewell. To get a club as small as Wigan into a top of the table finish is a tribute to Jewell's excellent shopping eye and tactical prowess.

It's PJ for me as well...

Great first season in the league and a cup final as well!

Faded a bit at the end but still a tremendous achievement!

Paul Jewell, closely followed by Alan Pardew.

They've both done wonders in their first seasons in the Premiership.

I named Glen Roeder. When Souness was fired Newcastle United was slipping very quickly into the relegation zone, but he turned them around into Intertoto Cup qualifiers.
You'll never walk alone.

Alan Pardew's West Ham United play with commitment, passion and rather pleasing to the eye for a newly promoted side because they like to pass the ball around and not behave like thugs ala Bolton. They have some good players like Reo-Coker and Ashton.

Next to him is Paul Jewell who has done an excellent job at Wigan where football was always second to rugby.

Watford has some interesting youngsters coming into the EPL next season and I admire Boothroyd's self-belief.
