Of course they won't. I wasn't saying that. Just trying to make the point that Bridge isn't as wanted by Mourinho as he was by Ranieri and could quite possibly be available during the summer. Plus he needs to be playing regularly if he wants a regular game for the national team.

Look at this for arrogance :glare:  cant wait till it all falls apart at chelsea I really cant wait, they are ruining the game.

Mourinho has Cole 'alibi'

Jose Mourinho has scoffed at suggestions he has held secret transfer talks with Arsenal's Ashley Cole.

It has been reported the Chelsea manager was spotted talking to the England left-back in a London hotel along with the player's agent last week, but Mourinho made light of the claims.

"I was in Milan with Adriano," he joked, mischievously suggesting he had instead had an unlikely meeting with the Inter and Brazil striker. "On Thursday I flew to Milan, so I couldn't be with Ashley Cole."

In case anyone was in any doubt, the Chelsea boss quickly made it clear his claims of talks with the likes of Adriano were in jest.

"Steven Gerrard, Adriano, Ashley Cole - and next week it will be another one," he said. "I have a perfect and wonderful squad and I don't need any more players this season. Next season I will need one or two.

"It is names after names with us, because it is Chelsea. Everybody wants to come and everybody wants to connect players with us. But I have no time to meet players. I am concentrating on my job with the club, and that is to get some silverware."

Mourinho's remarks were backed up by a Chelsea spokesman, who added: "We get linked with all the players. We have never commented before and we are not going to comment now or in the future, regardless what the circumstances may or may not be."

The agent of Monaco defender Patrice Evra has revealed that Liverpool have made inquiries regarding the availability of his client.

Monaco boss Didier Deschamps has made Evra available for transfer for around £2million and it is claimed that Rafael Benitez would like to bring in the left-back and then move on Djimi Traore in the summer.

Evra, who started his career as a striker, is a speedy, attack-minded defender and is one of the most exciting defensive prospects in France. He has been tipped to become the next Bixente Lizarazu. The 23-year-old was born in Dakar, Senegal but moved to France when he was just 3-years-old.

Asked if Liverpool were making attempts to sign him, agent Frederico Pastorello would only say: "I can confirm their interest."

It seems Chelsea are going the same as Madrid who tap players up via the media months before they make a move. When they finally come in for the (now) unsettled player it's usually with the most derisory offer imaginable.
We're all gonna have to get used to it.  :(

Chelsea= English Real Madrid. Soon they will be wearing Adidas kits with Siemens Mobile as their sponsor on their shirt. The only difference between Chelsea and Madrid will be the different colours of their kits.

Heres one from Sky but theres loads of others.

Reports in Spain claim that Real Madrid's Santiago Solari is inching ever closer to agreeing a move to Manchester United.
The Argentine wide-man has only six months left on his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and will thus be eligible to move on a free transfer in the summer.
Although he is highly-regarded at Real, and a huge favourite of the club's fans, the Spanish giants have been less than forthcoming with the offer of a new deal despite Solari making clear his desire to stay.
It is now understood that wages are the main impediment to the midfielder remaining at the club, with Real not prepared to match his current salary - believed to be around €3.5 million per season.
Given Solari's status as an habitual substitute, Real do not feel they can justify handing the player another extravagant contract, which has opened the door to United.
AS reports that the Premiership outfit have already started negotiations with the South American and claim he is now more likely to move to Old Trafford than stay in the Spanish capital.
Sir Alex Ferguson has long been linked with Solari who has been mooted as a possible successor to Ryan Giggs whose own long-term future with the club remains in doubt.
Barcelona were also reportedly interested in signing the former Atletico Madrid star, but were not willing to meet his demands.

More sh#te from koptalk  :D

Newspaper reports today claim that Liverpool and Tottenham are to battle it out for the signature of highly-rated Tranmere Rovers defender Ryan Taylor.

The 20-year-old Liverpool born right-back is attracting interest from the scouts of both clubs and his name is certainly worth listening out for in the future.

Taylor has scored seven goals so far this season.

But hes a scouser and we should get him if we are tracking him that is if hes any good.
