LIVERPOOL v man city Sun 11th Oct 4.00pm

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Never doubted the result today, not with our starting 11 and the bench options.
Really disappointed this is the performance we put on today. Relying on a headless chicken like Koumas to score? Get real. The kid works hard but he's not yet good enough. Today was the chance to give someone like Wright the chance to make a name for himself.

Im not disappointed with us, not one bit! We were screwed by Kavangh. How the league could appoint a Manchester born referee in a game like this especially with city under the magnifying glass is beyond me. That red card completely changed the trajectory of the game. It needs to be investigated because I can't be bothered anymore. My love for the game completely died today.

That story about City appeared in the German press 10 years ago and came from the same source who broke the panama papers story yet here we are a decade later, a decade!! still getting our noses rubbed in it by a bunch of cheats. The Klopp era should have mirrored the Paisley era and would have done but for those cheating so-and-so's. 830m extra they were allowed to spend that was back in the days when 50m - 60m got you one of the best players in the world. The prem were quick enough to jump down the likes of Everton's and Forest's throats even though both of those clubs co-operated fully with the investigations into them.
Really was tough to watch that last half an hour, Grav sent off for 2 nothing fouls by a ref from Manchester. How many times do we get refs from Manchester whenever we play a Manchester team...its unbelievable, i cant remember the last time we were reffed by a ref from Liverpool, in fact i dont think its ever happened.

And Carragher.. I'm honestly done with him. He's got a platform to really tell the story here. But instead he's just praised City and their manager.

Gravenberch didn't need to lunge in like that. He was on a yellow. It was a daft challenge to make. And Doku was clear away if he didn't take him out. Can't blame the ref. If the shoe was on the other foot, we would want that.
We didn't lose that game because of two yellow cards. We lost that game because of highly questionable transfer decisions for the last few years. Nothing coming through the academy. No Fowler, Owen, McManamin, even Carragher. Instead we panic buy players you could argue will shine in a Sh*t league like the Bundesliga or a one horse league in France

No I disagree. That first yellow card for Gravenberch was absolutely disgraceful. He never even touched Anderson, he completely bought the foul after over touching the ball. The 2nd yellow was also very soft but I could understand it if it was his first yellow card.. but the 2nd yellow the official always gives a little bit of leeway not to ruin the game. But how quick was Kavangh to go into his pocket for the second? He couldn't wait to screw us over.

We were doing okay up until the sending off.

I'm with you guys in all this, that is why I felt this shyte should've been sorted quick. So from now on every team City play and smash will feel like a no result. Many fans feel hollow after today loss, like it doesn't really mean anything.

When team sheet came out wasn't convinced myself, we competed well but sending off changed that game.
