This is honestly one of the worst displays I've seen for 15 years. We we're dreadful.

And again we can't beat the worst side in the league in current form. Can't wait to watch this dross next season as well.

This whole club is getting very toxic now... both online and at the stadium

All because of bad decisions by the club who don't have the balls to cut off a finger to stop the cancer from spreading

Couldn't bring myself to watch after we went 1-0 up. Somehow, I figured we would conspire to lose. I followed on the BBC. For me there's absolutely no argument, Slot has to go in the summer. I'm not sure Xabi is the answer, he plays slow football as well.
Our lot look seriously unfit, not bothered, there's no urgency or passion, no heart, no fight, no leaders on the pitch.
This has been a disgusting season on so many levels.
It's not just the manager, half if not more of those in red should be ashamed of themselves. Spoofers, driving fancy cars, playing keepy uppy in the tunnel at OT - disgraceful.

Mentality monsters to Pampering Princesses.

I can't watch anymore of this, it puts me in a bad mood and completely ruins my weekends. I don't mind losing or drawing if we put up a fight and show some kind of passion.

The owners should have got rid last November when we went from conceding 2 goals a game to 3. What a waste of 6 months, the owners have put the fans through it this season.

It’s going to take a very spectacular summer to sort out this mess.I certainly agree that Slot is not the long term answer however he certainly isn’t the only problem. Losing TAA, Lucho, Nunez, Elliot and Diogo definitely didn’t help when the only new arrival to show any real promise was Ekitike. I’ve included Elliot and Nunez simply because they both made a contribution during a title winning season. Izak is extremely fragile and so far hasn’t impressed. Kerkez is slightly better than average. Wirtz might have a considerable amount of talent but unfortunately we have seen very little of it. Frimpong is a serious disappointment. Hopefully we will see a massive improvement from these players next season under a new manager !!

Gomez is fit to come on in games so why is he not starting ahead of Jones who got targeted because hes a square peg. God help us if Frimpong becomes the new winger as hes terrible. Far to weak on the ball and goes to ground as the default. Gakpo is just a donkey. Slow as eff and just trots back defending. Midfield combinations just dont work as they cant control play or tempo. Its torture to watch us going sideways and backwards till we lose it and hang our hopes on set pieces. Its like watching a promoted side looking to stay up circa 2014.

We are going to have a few more players coming in over the summer and some want Slot to be given that backing and time to turn it around but if it where up to me I wouldnt let him near them coaching this shyte.

I've said it before and dont think anyone agreed but id snap up Unai Emery in a heartbeat. Hes a good manager, takes no sh1t, trains players decent, knows the league and has done wonders at Villa. Conference league final in 1st season, CL QF in his 2nd and Europa final in his 3rd all while being a good side in the league. He plays good football and with a bit of backing could get us challenging again quickly.

Never mind Unai Emery mate i'd take Dick Emery at this point, anyone but this joker that we've got in charge now.
Emery is a very good manager btw, took Villa from 4th bottom to CL, certainly knows what he's doing.

I know Emery wasn’t at Arsenal for very long, but you certainly didn’t set the world on fire. Wenger wasn’t easy to follow and who knows if he had been given longer it may have been a different story. Great chance of winning the Europa and qualifying for the CL as a result which is impressive.

This is my problem with sacking Slot. If we sack him this summer and go on to change managers every couple of years (including players) then in ten years everyone (after Slot has found success with another team) will say we should have stuck with the manager. He doesn’t inspire me at all but I’m more afraid of instability in the team. Winning the PL says he deserves another year unless of course there is the “next thing” manager lined up and how will anyone definitively know.

You never know how a manager will settle but that cant be the reason for sticking with something you can clearly see isn't working. We wont be changing managers every other year either if we get the appointment right. I'd have no issues with Alonso but would rather he had a bit more experience as he got walked on by a few egos at Madrid. Emery has had ups and downs as a manager(more ups) at multiple levels so would be a safer choice for me. Whoever it is will need some investment though.

Like in life, as in football, giving up is not a gradual process it’s a moment of realisation. I think it actually happened in about the 85th minute yesterday when our goalie had the ball in his hands ready to distribute and not one LFC player even broke into an upfield jog.
It’s difficult to come back from emotional capitulation.
