Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby 7_Kewell » Sun Apr 24, 2022 6:27 pm

Tough game that. Everton had no intention of playing football today and they tried every dirty trick they could.

But we win. And I loved Ali's mocking of Pickford's time wasting at the end there.

I hated that first half, they frustrated the life out of us time wasting, diving, fouling. The second half we showed fight, determination and the will to win. We need a Origi statue outside the stadium because that guy is a absolute cult hero.

And Alisson diving on the ball mocking Pickford really was a thing of beauty! Let's hope these lot get relegated.

Brilliant result.

Great result from a tough match. Diaz coming on just changed the game and Origi  :bowdown

We better get used to that kind of football as Villareal will give us more of the same.

Thank gawd for that !! Brilliant substitutions again by JK. Divvy really is something else. We weren’t quite on it in the first half against a 10 man defence. Richarlison is one horrible sh1t  :help

That was a big week for us, first we beat City in an FA Cup semi-final and then beat our 2 biggest rivals within the space of 4 days.

A difficult win against a very negative tactic by Everton, I think they will go down!
Thiago & Daiz were outstanding players and Origi scored once again against them.
We need to beat Newcastle and maintain the push for the league title.
