I think one of the difficulties we have is that we have a front 3 which is more established and settled than any other in Europe. So it's difficult to attract any top players as they'll be spending the majority of the season on the bench and missing all the big games unless there is an injury. I think we'll get someone a little younger who would be happy with 20-30 starts rather than 50-60. Someone at the level of Mane when he went to Southampton or Salah when he went to Chelsea.
Neil Jones who used to work at the Echo and now works for Goal has linked us to Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal. It wouldn’t surprise me if we bought in someone of that sort of profile.

Or just get Coutinho back and play with a front 4.
City play with a front 5 and yes every now and again they get caught out but they win a hell of a lot of games by just overwhelming teams with their attack.

Bale would be great - shame his wages are massive

“It's not easy,” says Klopp. “I said last year that to improve the team is not easy with reasonable money. With crazy money, you always can do it – okay, you pay whatever you want, then it's possible.
“We are not a club like that. We cannot do that. We are really wealthy but we cannot do what some other teams are doing. That's how it is.
“But we don't have to. We have to find solutions during the season. Yes, you find sometimes the solution in the transfer market and we have done that. I don't have to name the players, everybody knows.
“But otherwise you have to find the solutions on the training ground and that's what we do now.”

Imo they want him to get the best out of whats here before we spend again next summer after we sell one of our stars to pay for it.
