We need to move on, Keita is a very good player but we are wasting our time. By Bundesliga standards £75m is a huge amount and if they don't want to sell, fine, we'll give our money to someone else.
Renato Sanchez from Bayern is who I'd go for.

Sanches looks to be off to AC Milan

Personally I think this deal was always a non runner from the get go, They don't want to sell and haven't softened their stance since the first reported bid so now we need to move on.
I think FSG are being clever in trying to make out that they want to spend big money but the way they are going about it contradicts that. Like tapping up VVD and never notifying his club or even submitting a bid but yet he was a no 1 target. The same with Keita when they were told at the end of last season when he wasn't for sale but yet we still are dragging this out to save face with the fans. Its the same every year where we chase a big name or 2 and end up losing out before signing the like of Vincent Van Duck and Nabby kebabby for a fraction of the price.

Matic then, plenty of decent midfielders out there who would strengthen us, in fact given our defensive frailties and given how physical the prem is someone of Matic's size and defensive capabilities might even be a better fit for us than Keita.
If we keep Coutinho scoring goals isn't going to be a problem, keeping the opposition out at the other end will be our main worry, 2 signing like Van Dijk and Matic may just be what we need.

Can't blame you for doubting FSG's intentions. Especially the VVD debacle... how on earth can the executives in charge of the transfer be so amateurish...

Do you mean Nabby kebabby who flies that nebuchadnezzar?
He's quality! But I can't see FSG splashing out to build a landing site for his wheels tho...
