Leaves us real short in CM positions this weekend against Stoke, Can is suspended, Hendo is fecked, Lucas is fecked, so either he risks Milner & Allen (with Dortmund coming up) or gives a chance to Stewart & Brannagan

Allen is a more than adequate replacement short term and loaning Grujic back now looks a mistake, we must stop doing that.

We need more utility players and Matip is one who will join next season with that in mind and who could slot in at CM no problem.

If loaning the player back to the club is part of the deal then so be it.
I'd rather JK get his man albeit at the start of the next season rather than losing out on a player that he rates.

We'll miss him in the Europa league. We'll need to out-battle sides that are technically superior and thats almost what we did against Dortmund in that first leg. Henderson while sloppy on the ball covers a lot of ground in midfield and is still a much much much better player than the alternatives (Lucas, Allen, Milner, the kids). I'd be tempted to give one of the kids (Brannagan preferably) a run in midfield alongside Allen with Milner rested with Dortmund in mind.

Not true mate, it's that serious an injury, Newcastle, Sunderland, West Ham, Norwich etc.. will still line up to buy him. Insh'allah.....

What happened to rossitter?

Not sure if he is over his injury, perhaps someone else knows for sure, but he's not been in the squad lately

Glad to hear his injury isn't quite as bad as first feared, yes any knee ligament injury is serious but if he has a chance of making the Euro's his injury obviously isn't in the same category as Danny Ings's and Joe Gomez's.

We haven't missed him.

Don't know what Jurgen has in mind for next season but think Hendo's gonna have to step up his game if he's going to remain with us.

Im hoping we would change captain. If only Sakho didn't screw up he would've made a good captain. Milner is decent but i dont think he will be a regular next season.

Yeah Sakho would have made a good captain.
Agree about Milner as well, in addition to Grujic i think we'll see at least another CM come in during the summer.
