Well, that was a pile of ***** from the manager. Why play Ings and Firmino if you are going to have them defend in our own half ? Why take Firmino off when he's the only creative player in the side. We were outplayed for 90mins and didnt seem to have a plan at any point. Some of our play in the first half was a complete joke.

He's supposed to support Wycombe or Southend or some lower division team like that but he's a closet United fan if there ever was one.

To be fair it must be tough to try and be a creative influence when everyone around you is basically a water carrier or a grafter.

Thought we were absolutely shyte and never looked to take the lead in that game at all. We just went their and hoped they kept fluffing their chances so we would get a point with our 1 -9-0- ----------------1 formation. Mignolet and lovren are both accidents waiting to happen and its minimal at the moment because of all the bodies in front of them.
Have a bit of sympathy for benteke being asked to play like that but he didn't help himself either. He scored a goal like a 32 million pound signing but he never played like one. Ings only got a shot today because of his defensive work and I don't know what the point was because batman then subbed him to play another striker up front alongside benteke. Firmino is nothing special either and we look clueless at the best of times. Milner is a plodder, Captain :angry:

He lost the ball more than any player on the pitch today and gave Clyne no cover at all! All said and done, when Lucas is the guy going to get the ball off your centre halves, you know you are lacking quality.

What Gary Neville said was right, someone needs to tell our centre halves they're not Gerard Pique!!
