LIVERPOOL VS BURNLEY - Saturday september 12th 15.00 ko

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby stmichael » Tue Sep 08, 2009 4:01 pm

Massive game this, hardly helped by the fact that a certain number of our players won't arrive back from International duty until Friday. I'm talking about Mascherano and Lucas.

An early goal is vital to settle the nerves. Score early and I expect us to win comfortably.

wrong froum? ???  :D

Agree StMick, go for the early goal and batter them from there. Much of the same as Stoke. Cant wait
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

Got a feeling this will be a similiar game to some of those games that we drew at home last year..

Dont need two holding midfielders against these anyway, Lucas didnt play so Masch can have a rest.

Just hope all our players come back in one piece from these b@stard Internationals, I hate them.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

If we are resting either Masch or Lucas i would expect Gerrard to play in midfield for this one  :)
