Please stick to the thread subject.

Having a few digs at you is hardly a campaign is it. I've got to admit that if I received the amount of abuse that you do I would take the hint. As I have said before you actually enjoy the abuse and crave attention. For the record I said I would try and ignore you but you make it very difficult. As for acting like a mature adult that is something I would never credit you with.

What if we found them again?
What if?
What?

Would Stu have been derided if he had asked two years ago "What If we lose Lucas "
I thought the main aim of the thread was to discuss the merits of our squad if we lost crucial players because in the past we have lost crucial players every single season. Not one season has gone by where someone hasn't been out injured or suspended and it has cost us in some way.
Stu prob went a bit ott in regards 16th place but I think the point he is making is quite clear and valid - whilst we have started well our squad currently isn't as well equipped to deal with injuries compared to our "rivals"

Going off the thread title the thread talks about losing our best three players - it can be construed in a number of ways -
1) criticising Rodgers' transfer business in that the players he's bought aren't good enough
2) criticising the owners for transfer business for not spending loads or buying 'marquee' players
3) combination of 1 and 2
4) saying without the 3 players he names we're a mediocre side
5) squad depth is lacking
If it was strictly about squad depth would it not be titled as such and discuss the topic a bit more objectively with emphasis on squad depth rather than Gerrard, Suarez + another?

It's Stu - subtlety isn't his forte - i think the message he was trying to get across was clear - our squad currently isn't strong enough. The problem is that whenever a poster says something that is slightly critical or negative the reaction is massively ott towards the post or poster . And that's exactly what happened here.
