I’m sure you had the same feelings when we signed Gary McAllister. Seedorf made Modric and his midfield buddies look like youth team players when he played against them at White Hart lane the season before last. In terms of playing in central midfield, he would be head and shoulders above anyone in our squad. Definitely worth a look on a short term contract.

I would take Seedorf for a season but it won't happen

anyone who has seen seedorf playing over the last season would see instantly what immense quality the guy has. i'd have him in the squad like a shot. what we don't have is someone that can dictate the pace of the game, gerrard included, seedorf is a master at it.

I don't think he could cut the physicality or pace of the English game on a weekly basis. One season would wreck him.

Unless he has got too old he would have no problems at all with the english game. I havent seen him much this last season so I dont know how he has played recently but he is top quality and would be a great addition for one or two seasons.

Seedorf would be good backup but are we surely we need someone younger and more long term to replace Stevie?

he would cost a fortune in wages, considering it's his last season or two.

"Anfield set to land 6ft 8in forward signing.

According to Spanish source MercaFutbol Liverpool are close to completing the £6.4m signing of Ivory Coast forward Lacina Traore.

The Merseyside club is said to be set to be Brendan Rodgers first signing since taking over at Anfield and is seemingly an attempt to improve the club’s attacking options. Last term Liverpool managed just 47 goals in Premier League action and the former Swansea City boss has just Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll and veteran Craig Bellamy to call upon, hence the need to beef up the numbers.

Traore first emerged on the scene during his time at Romanian side Cluj who he helped to a domestic title and then impressed in Champions League action before securing a move to to Russian Premier League side FC Kuban Krasnodar where he notched up 18 goals in his first season, finishing as the third highest goalscorer in the division."

Probably just speculation

Got a feeling we will make 2 major signings this year in Gaston ramirez and either Adam johnson and Victor Moses.

Been some talk we need someone to sit with Lucas i think that someone might be Gerrard he stated when on duty with England he cant keep bombing forward anymore.

Well watching his passing at the euros he could certainly fill the void left by Xabi Alonso.

if the signings i say are true i think we would be a pretty tough competition if we set up like

                                                                                            Reina
Johnson                                                 Skrtle                                                Agger                                              Enrique

                                                                       Lucas
                                                                                                         Gerrard

                         Moses/A.Johnson                                                                                                Ramirez

                                                                     Carroll                                        Suarez
