So Saying I was inebriated to dismiss my comments wasn't ?
Also I was pro Benitez right till the very end ,and still love the man to bits ,so where
exactly you have gleaned that gem from Bav, I havent a fucking clue mate .

the fear of taking him on as he asks for all the power.

Rumour has it that he's turned down a lot... he wants a job that he believes in instead of being a journeyman like Hodgy.

I know nothing of the drinking comment so wasn't referring to that. But I just don't like the fact that some people will dismiss fans because they didn't happen to be born within a x mile radius of Liverpool. Fact is is the only fans that supported a top flight club were from that area the club probably wouldn't make enough money to bring in top players like Suarez, Torres, Alonso and all the other great players we have been blessed with down the years.
The Rafa comment wasn't directed at your personally but more at the wider party here who seem intent on rubbishing anyone who has the slightest amount of criticism for Kenny. No offense intended.

And if someone was going over Kenny's head with transfers ect people would be crying out for him to have control too. At the time we had just won the CL and we were trying to build a team to compete at home so I don't recall anyone here speaking out against his requests for control.

I don't see much canvassing for a Rafa return.....and we certainly don't want the fanbase split, now we are all collectively behind King Kenny !

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at how much biased disrespect Rafa gets on here, our best manager since Kenny's first stint, and especially by those who are lambasting other fans for not getting behind the manager. There is no need whatsoever to be spreading negative and false propanganda like there is no team who wants to appoint rafa...makes me want to laugh... It can't be anything other than a wind up if you think of it... he won us the CL and FA cup in his first 2 seasons, put us on the map again in europe, and tried as much as he could during one of the most trying times the club has seen in recent times and still gave us a title challenge and broke the points record 2 times. Do some of us here a favour and look up Rafa's winning percentage while he was at Liverpool. Show some respect to a former LFC manager who fought for the fans and only had good intentions for the club...
