Are you advocating Arsenal ditch Wenger to bring in a new manager because of his lack of success for the last 7 years.

Maybe they should...

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Rafa, AVB, Capello, Rijkaard (i think), Van Gael, and now Guardiola.

I don't want Kenny to go but there are a few capable managers out of work at the moment.

Guys,

Why the repeated discussion? Can the lot of you nay sayers not see that the values that embody the very essence of what sets Liverpool apart from all the other teams in the world lies within Kenny and noone else? If we do not embrace him, the values and the culture, the club will never ever be the same. This is about tradition and class and we should be thankful that we get a chance (once in a lifetime as well) to reclaim that crown. The last 20 years or so have shown how dire things will be without that influence, that's why those who 'get it' and understand what the club is really about will forgive slip ups of Monica Lewinsky proportions should Kenny make them. Be grateful for what you've got, this won't last forever and we'll rue the day it ends, mark my words.

First time I've ever asked for this, but please close the thread.

I would love nothing more than Kenny to be the one that wins us the (now elusive) prem after all he was my hero replacing Kevin Keegan and that took some doing. I was eleven when he came to Liverpool so I truely wish he is the one that brings the supporters the joy we deserve. Having said that I have seen too many matches this season where the team seemed disjointed, no imagination, no winning mentality, no cohesion, no passion and most importantly no confidence. At the end of the day it is all about the players and not so much the manager but the manager is there to make the players better and instill in them the things that the team seem to be lacking. Say what you will about Rafa (and Houllier to some extent) but their teams were always well organized and drilled and I feel too many times this season we were not. I am happy about the cup success but for me it is not a replacement for CL. This year a CL spot was there for us and we never took it and that dissapoints me. As much as I love Kenny I think the writing is on the wall for him with the owners and we will have a new manager next year and although that sadens me I hope that we finally get some stability that we will need to build another dynasty again.

ok so we sack kenny or he agree's to leave and then we appoint a new manager.
next season we finish 5th and 15pts off 4th and have no silverware to show for it.
what do we do then?.do we give him a second year? and if he fails again do we give him a 3rd?.

we have absolutely no reason to get rid of kenny and i hope he gets another year and does even better that this one to sicken some of the haters on here.
this thread in all fairness doesnt belong in this section of the forum and should be moved to the polls and voting area.

I'm sorry is someone forcing you guys to contribute to this thread? If not then shut the feck up, this thread is for peopel who want to discuss whether or not kenny shold be replaced. I am still of the strogn opinion that he will be replaced regardless of what any of us want, I am also of the opinion that any replacement will have us playing much better.

If we do sack Kenny, and I really hope we don't, then surely the next manager is going to have to be a 5 year plan.
We can't just keep sacking managers for missing out on Top 4.

We also need to get over ourselves and stop thinking that CL football and title challenge's are our right. I was furious to see some of our fan's last season hoping we'd miss out on Europa League football as it was seen as below us...  Also frustrating hearing our own fans mocking our Carling Cup victory.  Apparently Cardiff were the only team we beat..

When FSG took over and appointed Kenny, we pretty much started from scratch.  It will take time to get consistency again.  Winning 2 trophies wouldnt be an awful start though.

cups are fine...but isn't anyone concerned with our relegation form in the league?
