We shouldnt go back but we do need a new manager and its Fenways job to find one.

To be honest I am not sure they are that arsed so long as the fans are happy so Dagger
will stay so long as he is in favour, which he always will be whatever his team produces on the
park.

Fenway need the bottle to make the right decision and disregard fan opinion.

I would hope that Kenny would have the good grace to walk away but once your in the job
its a tough one to quit from particularly with such a fanatical and faithful fan base behind
you.

John Henry knows full well a fan revolt from his paying public would have serious repercussions to him
establishing Liverpool football club as a global brand .

In point of fact the last thing FSG and its corporate sponsors want is a very public and televised  mutiny ,akin to when fans voted with their feet ( during the pantomime that was Hodgsons infamous tenure ) and the attendance dropped alarmingly  Dalglish is staying whether it grieves the fainthearted or not ,the rest of  us will just dig our Peter Storms out 

so we wait....but bear in mind this...if we continue the same form next season, we'll be relegated. FACT.

yes we be relegated provided we hit the post 26 times again ( league record) and failure to sign a goal scorer.
we need to sign 1-2 quality forwards, price is not an issue (Ba and Cisse cost barcodes less than 20m).
if we do not sign new forwards for next season, i will blame Comolli, that's his job!

We are counting these misfortunes and decisions going against us simply because we aren't winning. Decisions going against us in a cup final? Fair enough we can complain about that. A season long trend? We got nothing but ourselves to blame...

I concur.

Another two points flushed down the toilet yesterday, at least we have stopped the rot of losing, that's the only consolation I can take from the match. I suppose if there was another one it was us coming back from behind to draw level, something we have been unable to do all season.

We started the season pretty well really and I remember Steve Clarke was credited with solidifying our back four. The midfield was creative, energetic, hungry. We were playing well and rolling over many teams even if we weren't getting the results. Over the season though we've lost form, confidence and direction. The entire club from top to bottom has suffered. I believe we need to get this season over and make a clean break of it. Just write the season off...done...dusted...gone. I promise you, my fellow supporters, even with this same team we will not be so bad next year. Sometimes things just go wrong. We want to dissect the team, look at everything singularily. Why do that? Look at the team as a whole, not its individual players. We really aren't as bad as this season has made us look. Let's stop the infighting. Let's support eachother and the team.

We need to bring in three or four players in the summer and they must be very good signings, no more paying over-the-odds for players with potential in the future, it's time to bring in some real proven quality. I mean even someone with the reputation of Clint Dempsey would be a fantastic signing, he's been consistently good in the Fulham team over the past few years. No, I am not advocating signing him, but players like him can make a real difference. I remember when we signed Alvaro Arbeloa and I checked up on him and at first I branded him a Real Madrid reject, but he turned out to be a fantastic defender, the same with Hyypia and Henchoz when Houllier signed them, they came with small reputations and become an integral part of our team, Sami more so over a longer period of time. So this summer we need to get things right in the market. Sign players with a proven track record, not a player whose stats look impeccable.

It's only when you go back to girl A you realise why you broke up with her in the first place.

If Liverpool win the FA Cup but don't even finish seventh the fans will have to weigh up both sides of the argument.

Are we happy to have won two domestic cups but been average in the premiership and can Kenny improve the league form next year?

It would be bizarre for him to step aside having won two cups which I why I suspect he'll hang on at least until August/September.

I'm not so sure there will be any kind of fan revolt if Kenny is sacked after this season.
While many (most?) will be happy to give him another chance I do think most supporters can see he has ***** up this season.

Seems to be most sensible fans are turning against kenny, or at least they are turning against his performance as a manager. Everyone on this forum is a passionate supporter of Liverpool but some choose to wallow in sentimentality whilst others are more realistic and dare I say it ambitious. This I'm a better fan and f*ck off and support another team is completely pathetic and does nothing to foster sensible debate.

Heimdall you're exaggerating thru your *****, don't go on, its the kind of cr@p the press and other clubs' fans pick up on and only attracts poor publicity.
