spearing is a better player.
he's not a prolific striker, and we are better offloading asap.

If it ever was. He has been at his best playing in a free role on the "wing" or just behind torres. He has never been that great as a holding midfielder, even if some journalists seem to think so. We desperately need goals but we keep playing one of the players that have provided plenty of goals for the last seasons on our own half.
It does not look like he is "leading by example" anymore either. Gerrard looks as ***** off as Pepe.

He was our only midfielder in the midfield trio that looked creative, he just needs regular first team football and I'm positive he'll develop into a good player for us. He has the potential, it's whether or not the club will help develop that potential into solid talent, that's the question. He definitely offers more than Adam, Spearing and Lucas in midfield.
