Through all of this we still havent heard what Suarez has to say
I would like to hear his explanation about what happened
Then again Evra is more credible as a witness and speaks english so we would have to take his word for it (again)

Kenny has to take the blame for the garbage we're paying to watch in the main.
Negative, slow, unimaginative and more often than not disjointed approach (home or away)
Constant swapping and changing.
This squad is capable of much more, but Kenny seems to take us 1 step forward then 1 or 2 steps back.
I have been lucky enough to watch the great man throughout his Liverpool career and want nothing more than for him to succeed this second time around.
He has steadied the boat within the club like no one else could have, but I fear he is no longer capable of managing the team.
I hope he proves me wrong but I fear he wont.  :(

Don't remember Kuyt starting the majority of our games this season. In fact he has started 15 out of 25 and I accept he has not been great but I would never put him in the same category as Henderson and Downing.

The notion that in management, "You should never go back" seems to be proven correct again. Let's be blunt, we deserve to finish 7th again this season. I don't agree that we're a Work In Progress. It 's just a lame excuse. Kenny doesn't seem to have what it takes to win PL anymore. My reason for that is, look at Mourinho on his first season at Chelsea. He just did it job and won the PL 2 times in a row and Chelsea were never regarded as a WIP.

I will accept whatever decision the owners will make regarding Kenyy's future after May. If they keep him, I'll be happy because he has always been my hero. If he quits/fired, I wouldn't mind much either if we can find a better replacement and also because he has already done his part in steering the ship after the H & G and Hodgson saga. To me, he will always and forever be the King of the Kop.

why so serious??
we did lose to the top team in the league right?
at point of writing, chelsea lost. we are 4 pts behind gunners and
get to play them next wk.
we got a final to look forward to, so it aint so bad compared to last
wk when we raped manchester twice. nothing really changed.

There is some truth in what your saying mate but the reality is that a lot of our players and the football we play is just not good enough. The five man utterly awful midfield against United yesterday displayed our frailties for all to see. They even managed to make Suarez look poor!

I have said before that I don't think we are far away and I stand by that. We need two or three quality midfield players that can create instead of pass the ball three yards sideways or backwards. At the moment we have some very highly paid crabs!

Kenny is epitimised by his determination to support two players - Suarez who doesn't return the respect and continues to drag the club's name through the mire, and Carroll who cant score goals and who KK won't adapt the team to the required style of play to allow the lad to flourish.

I hope for Kenny's sake he doesn't bet on the horses.

Oddly enough I thought we were decent in spells yesterday. We certainly started well. Saurez was looking lively. Johnson was good and bad at the same time. Spearing was out of his depth i'm afraid. Downing really was non-existant. Hendo...dunno. I hope we start to see something from him soon. Even Stevie looked fed up yesterday.

On the whole though away at OT 2-1 isn't a terrible result. I think there's a lot more to the feeling of depression today. I suspect had we won then lots more on this forum would be backing Suarez's actions.

I feel we wanted justice and the result of this game was going to shape manys opinions.

Personally, as I said at the beginning of this thread, i'd have chosen Carroll over Saurez for this. I think we really tossed him into a sh*tstorm, and now people want to blame Luis when Dalglish should really have known better.

good post Reg...but what do we do?  Sell both in the summer and start again?

in the summer we need a new manager and a major overhaul, we need to get rid of Carroll, Suarez, Henderson and Downing and replace them with quality players who are creative and can score goals. We also need to find a replacement for Gerrard because he's getting worse by the game, yet is still our best midfielder which is depressing in itself.
