another thing is kenny's interview methods. i know the guy loves the club and wants to protect the players but i thought his post match interview yesterday was really bad. his overly defensive approach in the end just made him look like a grumpy feck and will only serve to lose him even more admirers in the football world. one of his jobs is to show the club in a positive light and i think he could do better at the moment in that respect.
Don't agree with the 2nd paragraph, Kenny has been spot on when it comes to dealing with Media and scumbag journalists...

he replied that why if kenny was so adamant that his player is innocent then why did they choose not to appeal.

The FA were never going to go back on their decision and if anything they might have even extended the ban. As it turned out, the ban came at a decent time with a lot of cup games etc to play.
The media have tried their best to destroy Suarez's reputation so I don't see whats wrong with our own manager trying to protect him.

Whiskey Nose is a tw@tt, we know that, but he's dang good at what he does. He's great at getting the press onside, and great at twisting things to his own benifit. Kenny for me just comes across as stubborn and arrogant much of the time, which is a shame because he seems a real nice man.
When Kenny was given the permanent job, you can bet your @rse that the owners had 4th spot and higher in mind. They've likely wondered several times since then if they made the right decision. Don't be so sure that if we don't get 4th Kenny will be our manager next year. They backed signings like Andy Carroll for £35m. It shows they're prepared to take risks. If Kenny isn't doing the job (and let's face it, no matter how far football has changed, Liverpool FC should be challenging, and not struggling for 4th) the owners WILL find someone else. The next guy to come along will likely get more time. But I can well believe that they took a punt on Kenny and that they're well capable of saying "Let's try something new". I don't believe we'll ever employ Chelsea's "one shot at success" tactic, but they might just decide that in this case they've backed the wrong horse.

By the end of the season the new owners will have been around for nearly 18 months. They will have spent a net of £40m in the transfer market which isn't a massive sign of long term commitment considering the pittance they paid for the club. The owners will further reduce their overall net spend by selling Cole and Aquilani for close on £15/20m in the summer. Only time will tell and the summer will be a very important time. I'm genuinely concerned about the future of LFC if we fail once again to qualify for the CL.The silence of the owners and Ian Ayres during the Suarez case was almost deafening and somewhat strange to say the least.I really don't know what to make of it?
Just look at our activity in the transfer market over the last twelve months. Is anybody ecstatic about who we have bought and sold? I'm still at a loss as to why Mereiles went. Just what did Torres say to him? Was it his age? Was it money? Was it Kenny or Comolli? I don't mind us selling the dross but for far too long we have lost some real quality players and made some serious mistakes in the transfer market. The sale of Nando in my opinion was good business as he had been far from his best for a very long time.
