But your not answering what happens after that - how can you get someone who can guarentee top 4 ?

Ok here is the situation for you

In May we don't get Top 4 and you get your wish and Kenny is asked to leave/sacked etc after just his one full season

We employ Hiddink/Ancelotti , they spend 60 mil or so but they also don't reach top 4 ? Do you demand they go as well ?

BTW I said no one should expect top 4 - that's different than aiming .

Yes it will be disappointing to not get top 4

Yes it will be disappointing to not get top 4

we'll see...the situation isn't hopeless, but the next 10 games will make or break Kenny's 2nd stint as manager in my opinon. IF he turns it around and gets us back fighting for 4th then i'll be a lot happier.

But, at present, Kenny's spent more money than another other in our history (in a 12 month period) and got very little to show for it. Our style of play is disjointed and, at times, lacking direction or leadership. To make matters worse we're getting sucked into mid table obscurity with teams that have spent little or no money.

As i said, Kenny can turn this around, but the next 10 games will prive Kenny's ability to cope with pressure and a squad that lacks direction and scope

You said if he doesn't get 4th then he must go , there was no leeway - it was 4th or else .

So do you still think that and what would happen if a new manager doesn't get us to 4th as well ? Sacked ?

In fact does any manager who doesn't get us 4th get sacked straight away ?

Oh I have read back through it all and you have done a wonderful job of avoiding the juicy stuff .

You said Kenny should go if he doesn't get 4th - no leeway - 4th or else

Now the think you keep avoiding answering is what happens when a new manager doesn't get 4th after just one season as well ? Does he get sacked as well ?

Is it a case of 4th or your gone ?

I just want to prepare myself for next season when your demanding 4th again.

Well that is all your going to give Kenny - one full season starting from the start of the season.

Nothing to make up - Kenny wasn't installed as full time manager until the summer after doing a great job as caretaker from a negative starting position.

So this is Kenny's first full season for a crack at the CL spot - so your saying if he doesn't get it then be must go ? Yes ?

sorry..i forgot that in Benny Land Kenny's first 6 months didn't matter :laugh:

Meanwhile, in the real world, Kenny will have been in charge of Liverpool for a year and a half by the summer and spent more than any other manager in that period of time. A top 4 goal/expectation/demand/hope/wish is not unreasonable as our owners have already shown.

What exactly do you think the owners meant by "not getting 4th will be a major disappointment". You do realise that they have a track record of not "suffering fools" gladly don't you?

If after a massive rebuilding and spend we are not closer to getting 4th then KK will be out the door, if we carry on with our current sh!te play he will NOT be our manager next season.

Kenny only gets 18 months ,one full season really, because the first 6 months were spent trying to get us out of the :censored:

So a new manager should surely either get one full season or 18 months and if they aren't in 4th they get fired ?

I wonder if it's just Kenny that you have the problem with ? I wonder how long you would give someone like Hiddink ? Would you demand he go if he didn't reach 4th or would he get a second full season.

as a club and we will be constantly changing managers on a yearly basis because no one is give long enough to successfully build a team . It took Ferguson how many years ? They even nearly sacked him after 4 years of nothing until he won the FA Cup .

If our owners are going to start hiring and firing managers on a regular basis when we don't win stuff or get into the top 4 then it's going to be a fun ride for them.

i have no problem with Kenny, but i do have a problem with our current transfer policy and our current freefall in form. I would like nothing better than Kenny to turn this around and push us into the top 4.

So what if we win the CC , progress in the FA Cup and miss out on 4th by a couple of points on the final day of the season ? Does Kenny get another season ?
