Jose Mourinho should never manage Liverpool.  the job wouldnt suit him.
He only goes to clubs with lots of money and achieves short term success by signing experienced players for big fees.

Every manager in the history of Liverpool has always focused on the long term future with or without them in charge.  Thats why we sign players like Shelvey + Hendo and work on our academy. 

With Jose in charge we'd sell our soul for some short term success then he'd leave and we'd be left to pick up the pieces.  Look at Chelsea and Inter as examples.  Chelsea are still trying to recover from the millions he spent on older players that are now past it.

I disagree, I think Maurice is a hiighly intelligent man who knows exactly how to win which is what Liverpool now need. There is no point throwing good money after bad, so lets get the right man in and get started.

Maureen only focuses on himself - he buys for the present and has no interest in building up a club , he wants to walk in , spend a bit of money on instant success then walk away with all the plaudits ignoring the mess left behind, Chelsea are seeing , Inter Milan are seeing .

I disagree, I think Maurice is a hiighly intelligent man who knows exactly how to win which is what Liverpool now need. There is no point throwing good money after bad, so lets get the right man in and get started.

Whether his character fits the bill of a Liverpool FC manager is debatable and it's obvious that opinion on him is split. But he is a proven winner.

I think he is a bit of a kunt but part of that persona I think is him deflecting attention away from his players. One thing is for sure though, he has a proven track record of getting the best out of players.

Bav, I don't care if he's a **nt to be honest but I sense Liverpool are staring over the edge of the cliff and wondering whether its possible to move forward in this player cycle or whether we become a mediocre, 6/7th place team for the next 3-4 years. We must move forward and I don't see the current crop of players even after Kenny's lavish supermarket frenzy being the team to challenge for top place.

i believed from day one, from his Porto days he is aiming for the Real madscum position.
yes, his Porto did win the champs league, but a similar "smaller club" AC Monaco also did well in getting into the final against him.

from day one, he has managed the biggest clubs in their respective league.
look at Macinin at Citeh, league leader, was he the "best" manager around ?
it is up to debate, but the 500m war chest did help a lot.

even if morinho win la liga it is not really a big achievement as they probably can sign anyone they want.

at Inter, they were the biggest around as AC and Juve were hit by the match fixing scandal.

Kenny is building for the future, so is Wenger but he is over-doing it. Barca (now) and manc (whole of 90's) dominated the game because more than half of the team was from the academy. the academy players breathe and bled the club's blood.
u want morinho to do that? no way, jose. i admit he is the one if u want short term instant results but cracks will start to show few years down the road.

I think he just might be. Why? cos he 'gets' us. He is emotionally involved with LFC. He won't see us far wrong but it will not happen over night. Just like back in 1959, it'll take time to start to build.

i think you are spot on mate, most of it is an act.
the truth is that he has a lot of time for Liverpool as a club, the only person he never got on with was Rafa. I know they had a drinks a few times after games but that soon stopped.

he has said before that Liverpool would be one club he would come back to England for as he loves the history of the club and if a big Shankly fan.

he has said before that he trys to be cool just like Shankly was but to also have the passion for the game he had.

how would us fans take to him as our manager, well i dont like the guy but he is a great manager. but if we did not win games fast if he took over from Kenny fans would turn on him faster than they did with Roy.

sorry mate but you must open up your eyes and stop saying "the team is in termoil. Hodgson at the helm" the truth was we were left a team by Rafa and Roy just added a bit more to it.

Rafa is not blame free when you talk about the state of the club.
