I think he just might be. Why? cos he 'gets' us. He is emotionally involved with LFC. He won't see us far wrong but it will not happen over night. Just like back in 1959, it'll take time to start to build.

sorry mate but you must open up your eyes and stop saying "the team is in termoil. Hodgson at the helm" the truth was we were left a team by Rafa and Roy just added a bit more to it.

Rafa is not blame free when you talk about the state of the club.

i think you are spot on mate, most of it is an act.
the truth is that he has a lot of time for Liverpool as a club, the only person he never got on with was Rafa. I know they had a drinks a few times after games but that soon stopped.

he has said before that Liverpool would be one club he would come back to England for as he loves the history of the club and if a big Shankly fan.

he has said before that he trys to be cool just like Shankly was but to also have the passion for the game he had.
the inteview was given to the bbc in 2010 and was posted on here...in some thread.

how would us fans take to him as our manager, well i dont like the guy but he is a great manager. but if we did not win games fast if he took over from Kenny fans would turn on him faster than they did with Roy.

He has also said he would love to follow in the footsteps of Ferguson.

He says a lot of utter and he wouldnt touch us unless he had an unlimited budget .

He has been disrespectful to our club and the fans, he turned us down once because we werent big enough for him .

He started hating Rafa the minute we started beating Chelsea.

He shouldnt be anywhere near our club .

As for us I think Dalglish is holding the fort until NESV get their ducks in a row and sort out the staidum issue. A 2 year contract that I doubt will be extended.

He was the right appointment in that they can ride out this difficult early stage without much heat on them or the manager. They possibly expected a rough patch early doors but publicly aimed higher to keep hope alive. Had they made another appointment, with these results and signings, its fair to say these boards would have been bombarded and faith in them damaged. Surely no one could argue that.

They have been clever in some ways, perhaps naive in others, but I expect that in 2 years max we will have a new and younger manager, a stadium being built, and a different outlook for the football club.

Exactly, but unfortunately in this day and age fans want success instantly instead of looking at the bigger picture. I actually feel alienated from a lot of our fanbase these days. There's a load of whoppers who want actually want Kenny out after a year. These are probably the same idiots who booed our side under Rafa after going top of the league.

I dread to think what it's going to be like on here if we lose the two cup games this week.

Henderson's deal totals 20 million...plus 35 million for Carroll, 8 for Adam and 20 million for Downing = 80 million, which is the best part of 100 million...none of these players have added much to our squad, or improved on what we sold in the summer...which i've said to you before Benny many times.
