i despise patrice evra with a passion. it's a case of the boy who cried wolf. it's not the first time he's alleged this.

on suarez, the guy's phenomenal and if only he was a bit more clinical he'd be up there with the best in the world. he's deceptively strong for a small guy. yesterday he was brilliant at holding the ball up and inviting free kicks. it does worry me that he hasn't had a break though. we'll tire him out if we're not careful. bench him against norwich and stick carroll and bellamy up top.

Evra accused the Chelsea stewards of racially abusing him a few seasons back and nothing come of it.

If IF, Suarez did say it then he deserves to be punished but the guy can hardly speak a word of English and he has a lot of black friends at Ajax.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a dirty tactic to get Suarez a bad name and to start to get him singled out by referees.

I don't believe a word Evra's saying - he's played the race card before, he's crying wolf again.

"I've just LOL at Gervinho's hair close up then, defo a wig glued on that, Weird looking creature him???"

I reckon Fergie is so worried that Suarez has made such an impact that he asked Evra to play the race card to try and put Suarez off his game. Once a Mwancker, always a Mwancker.

THIS seems like the most likely scenario.  :bowdown

suarez has denied it completely - that's good enough for me

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15328769.stm

Luis Suarez says he is "upset" about being accused of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra during Saturday's Premier League match.

The Liverpool striker wrote on Twitter: "I can only say that I have always respected and respect everybody.

"We are all the same. I go to the field with the maximum illusion of a little child who enjoys what he does, not to create conflicts."

The Football Association has said that it will investigate Evra's claims.

The United defender alleges the incident took place during the 1-1 draw at Anfield.

A Liverpool spokesman earlier told the Press Association that Suarez "categorically denied" the allegation.

An FA statement read: "Referee Andre Marriner was made aware of an allegation at the end of the fixture and has reported this to the FA.

"The FA will now begin making enquiries into the matter."

Evra was quoted as telling French TV station Canal Plus: "There are cameras, you can see him [Suarez] say a certain word to me at least 10 times."

If Suarez is denying it then it's good enough for me. Evera is the only a close 2nd to Rooney for being the biggest tw@t in the North West

I'm not sure how the FA handles such investigations but if they find Evera accusation to be false he should be punished severly.

Evra has alleged racism twice.. a third time two deaf united fans said that they lip read racist abuse towards him..... on one of the other occasions Evra claimed African fas from Senegal called him a monkey! very strange. The other was against a steward at Chelsea that was also pants...

I am not saying he is lying, but he is not telling the truth!! :p

The racism accusation has become one of the most powerful things in our society. While it is absolutely necessary and right to punish those who racially abuse others, it should also be right to punish those who lie about being racially abused. If Suarez is found guilty he must face the consequences. If he is innocent they should throw the book at Evra

Whatever Suarez has or hasn't said, there's been no questions asked of or info provided by the shrinking violet Evra about what he was saying to Luis. I read once that Zidane had racial abuse at times throughout his career and didn't react but head butted Matterazzi for talking sh!te about his sister. One seems to acceptAble in football the other doesn't, but both can have the same effect.
