Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

Anyone who was at the game on Saturday will tell you that Evra was pumped and whining almost from the very first whistle. He was having "one of those games" and not a lot went right for him. He's only recently been made captain in the absence of Vidic and maybe the whole captain role has got to him ?

Whats not in doubt is just what an annoying so and so Suarez is. He has quick feet, really quick feet, a lot of strength and skill and is lighting on his feet. He is an absolute nightmare to defend against and a pain in the :censored:. Allied to this his body language, gesticulations and lets be honest here an ability to go down quicker than a Bangkok Ladyboy and with dramatic effect its obvious he isn't here to be popular amongst his peers or his opponents.

Defenders like Evra and Ferdinand are used to getting it all their own way and did not like Suarez one bit as he gave them such a hard time. Evra particularly seemed to take major offence.

Evra is in the unfortunate position of having been here before(twice) and the FA found no evidence and no caee to answer so thats got to be factor.

He can't speak English that well andy, a chelsea steward called him f-ing ignorant, Evra thought he called him a f-ing immigrant.

seriously? he's been playing football over here for nearly 6 years now. he must be one thick barsterd if he hasn't at least mastered the basics.

if there turns out to be no clear evidence that "racial abuse did occur" then the fa have to fire the book at evra.imo evra wasnt in the game the other day,had a few niggly spats and didnt get the decisions and is now looking to shift the blame for his bad performance to this.
has to be clear favourite for the jim henson award now!!

"niggly spats"?

Get the lip readers in, closely examine the "evidence", if his claims are proven as clear lies, suspend the muppet for the rest of the season.

He has already done this is the past, three strikes and the donkey should be punished severely.

But its Scumchester so he will get off.

It would be awesome if there was a tape that showed Suarez kept calling Evra a "Punta".  Evra wouldn't have a case.  It's not racist.  It's a fact.

Not to mention calling somebody a b!tch isn't racist.  Unless Evra feels he was being womanized.

love the guy but needs to be far more clinical, and that includes getting his head up to pick out players in better positions now and again.

I would hope that someone has a word with him (a la Diouf) and tell him to concentrate on staying on his feet and stop complaining. He is getting the dreaded "reputation" and this need to be nipped in the bud asap

Seems to get worse by the day doesnt it. And the fact that he misses as many chances as he does doesnt help him much either.

Didn't want to say stuff because people would get on my back, but Suarez is really :censored: me of and has been for some time now. I mean, I believe that the guy is our best buy since Judas, I respect him for all that dribbling skills and movement but the guy's a bitch, he always moans, goes down very easy, he's always angry with his team mates and worst of all which I believe no one has mentioned, he's selfish. He wants to do everything by himself and always wants to be the hero. Even if he makes an assist, it won't happen before he goes past a few players in an attractive style. Don't mind it when it happens but it really pisses me off when he fails, and he does that often. I don't mind him trying once or twice, but he shouldn't be trying all the time. That I think has cost us a lot, I could tell you a few situations like that just from yesterdays match! Also I think we're a bit at fault as well, we give him too much credit while we don't see that more often than not, because of his selfishness and will to do everything with style, has cost us valuable points. Someone needs to tell him that he needs to stops this because not only we've probably lost the title but we'll lose the 4th spot and he has a lot of doing in it! And all this combined with that he's not clinical enough...
