This guy is special though. We're very lucky to have him. It's very rare to have a player who loves the game so much and just wants to play as much as possible, not to mention his ability which is second to none.

Luis Suarez is thrilled with Liverpool's unbeaten start to the season and has attributed the club's impressive performances to their team spirit.

The Uruguayan's comments come after he was awarded the club's player of the month award after scoring against Sunderland, Exeter City and Arsenal.

It's the third time Suarez has picked up the award since his move to Liverpool in January, however, similar to his demeanour on the pitch, the forward was keen to be unselfish and dedicate the award to his teammates.

"I am very happy because I think the team has started really well, and that is what we all wanted," he said. "We are only three games in, but we will be trying to continue in the same vein.

"The important thing for me is that the whole team is happy. It's just not about one player doing it on his own.

"I am happy when the team is winning and playing well. Whether I'm playing or not is something for the manager to think about, but it's true he also has to know when to rotate the squad a little on occasions."

The new season as seen Liverpool play with a renewed sense of freedom, and Suarez adds that he's delighted with the current style of play adopted by Kenny Dalglish's side.

"But I like the style of play and tactics we've adopted in recent games, so I'm very happy," he added.

"I think team spirit is very important. If we don't all get on with each other off the field then it becomes very difficult to achieve your targets on it.

"All of the new lads that have come in are helping us greatly, while at the same time getting on well with the rest of the squad. That's important, not only for the whole team but for the fans as well."

I honestly think Suarez is a better player than torres, Suarez gives 101% every game he plays for us, scores with left right head - and his passion

Hard to compare him with Torres as they different types of players. Suarez is more like an attacking midfielder who assists and scores when the opportunity arises. His ball control skills are much better but in terms of finishing ability, I think Torres was better. Pity we don't have Torres here in his first season form.

It is not easy to lose like we lost. But we have to work hard to improve. I trust to my team partners, come on!...

Listen he was understandably frustrated yesterday. You have to admire his passion and determination though. He is a winner.

He did look tired but he still moved about the pitch well. Wasn't his best performance tonight but still should have got a few goals. He seems to get frustrated easily on the pitch and he needs to put the ball in the back of the net to get rid of some of that frustration.  A brilliant player but he gets a little too worked up sometime.

Suarez is obviously an amazing player, one of the best in the world, he contributes to almost every single attack.  My only minor arguement against him is his finishing.  I think he could be even better if he can learn to compose himself a small bit more in front of goal.

He was our best player on the pitch today, but the way he shake his head and kicked the water bottle when he got subbed off showed me another side of him, he shouldn't be selfish

He doesn't like to be replaced. Don't want to sound like im making something out of nothing here but we should be trying to keep him happy.
