and.. suarez speaks fluent Dutch with Kuyt and Meirless and oftem communicate in patches in Dutch, when sorting out positioining and pass moves.. also speaks Spanish... Pepe, Lucas, Enrique...

no sentimental signings by KK... Coates is a good player and his motivation to come here will be Luis.. Luis.. he'll settle wherever cos his attitude is first class. If only there were more professionals like him.. instead of some the sulks ..

We can let any suitor start discussing terms at around..70-80 million pounds :D

Have to make sure we keep Suarez on a nice long contract, hate to see a Nasri situation happen here.

Suarez is too fast for him. Cole would have only half-finished his ciggie by the time Suarez was in the penalty box....

I love our Luis, he's beautiful

Every goal we've scored this season he's been on the pitch, not hugely significant considering he's a first team player but still :D

Reading that DD I was surprised he's got no assists but he's played a big part in goals - ball to Downing, the OG at Arsenal - so goals and assists alone doesn't tell half the story :D

He's awesome, I'm in love
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Yes I think we all love Luis for his goals, assists and dazzling skills.  We must enjoy his presence here as much as we can while he's still playing for us because there is a strong possibility that he will follow the footsteps of Fabregas, Ronaldo to Barca/R.Madrid or worse Chelsea, MCity/Man U one day. Makes you sick just thinking about it doesn't it?

So to keep him for as long as we can, we have to make sure we are winners of the PL on a consistent basis and for the club to be in the top 5 richest club in the world, otherwise for sure he will leave for greener, financial pastures in those clubs.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has insisted that he feels ready to play every game despite having barely had a break all summer.

Having made a big impact at Anfield during the second half of last season, Suarez quickly had to prepare for international duty with Uruguay in the Copa America.
He inspired his country to glory at the July tournament and then had just a week's rest before returning to Liverpool for the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Suarez showed no signs of fatigue for the Reds during the first few games of the season, although he did start on the substitute's bench against Arsenal as Kenny Dalglish tried to manage him carefully.

The 24-year-old has just embarked on a 3,300-mile round trip to Kharkov to play Ukraine, while Craig Bellamy has been signed to give Liverpool an extra option up front, but Suarez does not want to be left out at Stoke on Saturday.

"I want to play in all the games I can for Liverpool," he said in the Daily Mirror. "I don't want any rest at all.

"Despite only having that week's training before playing again, I'm only 24 so I felt good.

"I was glad to get back to training at Melwood as I had been missing that whole atmosphere around the training ground and wanted to get back to playing at Anfield. So it was really special for me to get back."

Ambition

Suarez has been pleased to see Liverpool recruit a number of players this summer as he is hungry for more silverware after lifting the Copa America trophy.

"Bringing all the players in is very positive and I hope they can help return Liverpool to where they should be, which is aspiring to win league titles," he said.

"All the players have that same ambition. I know that after winning the Copa, I want to win things with Liverpool.

"Kenny is the one who has signed the players, but those players have all come to Liverpool with the same ambition to make the club win again.

"Nobody comes here with any airs of being better than anybody else. They come with the idea of playing in the team and making the team, the squad and the club better."

Good start

Liverpool have made a strong start to the season, picking up seven points from their opening three Premier League fixtures, and Suarez is confident of maintaining that good form.

"Overall, our start has been good," he said. "The first half against Sunderland was superb, fantastic.

"In the second half, we tired a little bit, but, of course, that was the first game of the season and it's always difficult playing against teams in the opening game.

"But again, I felt we looked stronger at Arsenal and played well for longer. I'm very confident that we are going to carry on reaching those standards this year.
