This is all great news getting rid of the last of the deadwood (with Poulsen) but any news on eggnog yet? Heard about an imminent transfer to Bolton but there's been nothing confirmed yet

Its simple, French clubs wont pay EPL stupid salaries. 90 thou a week that lad was on..... FFS.........

and those trying to flee Citeh cant not because their not good, but because no one can match their salaries so with 3 years left on a contract they're happy to stay put.

Cole only had a two year contract didn't he? So that's the end of him then

Besides Meireles last summer was one of the worst since the Souness era.
Maybe the one when Houllier bought Diouf and Diao come close.

I mean, sure there wasn't endless amount of money but
Cole, Poulsen, Konchesky did cost around 10 plus all the sign on fees and wages which were all pretty high.

And at 5 million a year plus 5 million plus signing on fee .

20 plus million is what he was going to earn from us .

Wonder why he moved to us again  ???
