For a send off for his last cameo at Anfield? He wont be playing for us come the start of next season.

I hope we dont get 5th, pretty sh!t finishing 6th but we have bigger fish to fry than the Europa league extra revenue from the Carling Cup & FA Cup will mean gates arnt down, prefer us to have a go for domestic cups than playing against sh!te no ones ever heard of on a thursday night.

The UEFA Cup was boss the Europa league is cr@p, my sons got a season ticket at our local club they have 5 thousand fans and they are in the Europa league and no ones ever heard of them outside Holland.

I think this is a really bad thing for the club.  Its gonna be really hard to keep all of our players happy if we're only playing 1 game a week.  It will be much harder to gain any sort of momentum.  If we lose a match, we won't get the chance to bounce straight back mid week.

The young players won't get as much time to develop.  It will be harder to attract top European players.
It would of been a huge lift if we could of finshed higher than Spurs.

The only positive is, maybe we can go for it a bit more in the FA and Carling Cups.

Breaking news UEFA give England an extra place in Europa League fair play hope they give it to fulham  :glare:

Off SSN website

Uefa have confirmed that England have been awarded an extra Europa League place.

England, Norway and Sweden topped Uefa's Respect Fair Play rankings, meaning all three nations benefited from an extra place in European competition.

The top side from the Premier League's own Fair Play league, who have not already qualified for Europe, will now be handed the place.

The Fair Play League, is not just yellow and red cards, which do form a part of it - but each side is also ranked on Positive Play, Respect Towards Opponent, Respect Towards Referee and Behaviour of Officials.

At the moment Spurs top this league, with Fulham and Blackpool also in close contention.

But as it stands Mark Hughes' side would be the beneficiaries as Tottenham would already qualify for the Europa League from finishing in fifth.

If Birmingham were to get relegated, do they still keep their place?  Surely a championship team would be unable to compete in that amount of games.

The Europa League will still survive without us. After all the competition can look forward to the delightful football of Stoke and Birmingham.

Looks like Fulham may get in through the fair play league a next seasonswell.

Have to say guys, I think you're all wrong about not wanting Europa football.  We'll see though :D
Have a strange feeling we'll still nick it on the final day.
