Today wasn’t a one off, we’ve been poor a few times this season and our inconsistency is still there, as is our inability to score goals.
We need a manger who can work out how to battle through the lesser teams, we also need someone who won’t tell our players to HOOF the ball when plan A doesn't work...we also need a manager who wont be afraid to drop the likes of Carra.
But most of all, our club needs a new start, and it needs to start up top with the boss. Move Kenny back upstairs, and lets get someone who is on the up and ready to take the reins of our great club and make us great once more. Otherwise, mid table obscurity awaits us all.

disagree. sentimental value should not be embraced at the expense of progress.

I disagree.
Chelsea hardly played boring football when he won the league here. Inter were boring yes but the Italian league is slow and boring, besides he still won the double. Real Madrid may not work out, if only for the fact that he is having to compete with arguably the best club team ever.
Whilst many may not like Mourinho, no one can doubt his credentials. The man is a genius at motivating players into winning teams.
At Chelsea he motivates and provided tactical insight and let Steve Clarke work it out on the training pitch. I can honestly see them being reunited if he becomes available.
Kenny himself has said he will willingly step aside if the board think there is someone better available. Now i'm not saying Kenny is worse than Mourinho but realistically he is only going to get one (maybe two) seasons to prove otherwise. I sincerely hope he succeeds, nothing would make me happier. But with my sensible hat on you cannot ignore the potential that Mourinho provides, he is one of two managers who can say he has succeeded at a European level and won the Premier League on more than one occasion. His credentials fit our goals.
