My point is neither pro-Rafa or Anti-Hodgson or any other cliche. My point is that the photo of Hodgson means nothing so stop making it into something.

hmmm that photo of Hodgson means nothing? so in response you post pics of Rafa with Fergie...surely you do see something in the pictures then...?

anyway...my take...pictures of Rafa and Fergie on the sidelines of a football pitch and a picture of Roy sitting with Fergie in stands are two different things, surely anybody can see that? Not that a pic of Roy and Fergie changes my opinion of Roy but there is a difference in the pictures posted

The point is that at some point neither Benitez or Hodgson has a reason to hate Fergie like we do. It wasn't until Benitez fell out with Fergie did the hugging get replaced with formal handshakes.

Prior to their falling out, you really think Benitez wouldn't of embraced Fergie the same way when they bumped into each other at other teams games?

My point is, and I made the same point yesterday, why does a criticism of Roy automatically provoke some nobber to have a pop at Rafa as a means of defence. Thats my point really. See it now?

I posted it because, as hard as you find it to comprehend, two managers embracing after a game, watching a game, wherever, happens because of mutual respect. Until there is a reason to stop doing that they continue to do that.

I didn't attack Benitez when he did that, so there is no reason to attack Hodgson. Benitez would of continued to embrace Fergie if they hadn't of fallen out. Hodgson hasn't fallen out with him, hence the friendly embrace.

Yes I do
This is one of the biggest problems on here that when people use childish methods of criticising Hodgson, there are those only too willing to use the same methods to criticise Benitez
It would be better if people stopped clutching at straws to slag Roy off?

come on mate. The sh!te and pressure Roy's under at the minute means he's going to be under more scrutiny than Rafa was. He says he never had the respect of the fans blah blah blah then comes out with some of the sh!te he has done and hangs about with Fergie. He's going to come under this sort of scrutiny and IMO, its deserved.

Rafa and Fergie were well known to dislike each other, didn't Rafa have a pop at Fergie from Italy not too long ago? It's pretty clear they weren't the best of friends

Roy isn't good enough for LFC, I don't give a sh!t what he does from here on in that isn't going to change. My feelings on Rafa have no relevance on that whatsoever. It just seems on here that anyone who has any sort of pop at Roy who was known to not want Rafa to leave gets hit with the same cliched sh!te as if it proves something about their point of view on Roy. It's boring
