A lot are ''hating'' him, personally

I don't rate him too.

I can't understand the whole hate thing either.

Maybe its being fuelled by the North-South divide? After all Cockneys are pretty much disliked everywhere up north.

Managers like Souness deserved to be hated more than Hodgson. His stubbornness and ineptitude almost got us relegated on more than one occasion.

We arent safe yet mate

But in all seriousness there is a lot of hatred towards him from the fans - especially on the terraces - not sure exactly why , maybe he is seen as the last thorn from the H & G era .

Obviously the performances arent helping matters or the things he says to the press .

Me too.

I think there are a lot of meaning of ''hate'', hating him personally, is the one I see in most, but what has he done to you as a person so you can hate him, you don't even know him and he doesn't know you exist!

Yes Scouser's are also well thought off in the Big Smoke ... what's your point ? this is about a man not being anywhere near good enough to manage our club ...North ,South divide will only serve to add a further  ingredient this forum could best do without .... isn't there enough prejudice without adding fuel to the fire .......  don't you agree ?

Dont hate Hodgson and I think the guys ok but hes not really doing enough to hang on to his job at Liverpool is he. Just like players you have to have something a bit special in your locker to manage Liverpool, handle expectation, earn trust in the support and its a bloody hard job and I dont think Roy has it in him. Hodgson is a good manager and was worth a shot under the circumstances, but if anyone, either NESV or Roy thinks this long term strategy will wash with fans is living in cloud cuckoo land. I mean we draw one match and we are all baying for blood let alone enduring one or more camapigns of mediocrity. Someone has to wake up to the fact that at this club you have to buy very good players and hire a manager that has the persona and charisma to make it all work and right now I fear we dont have either and we the fans will never stomach playing second fiddle, never in a million years.

Yeh Right ,you have no integrity what so ever ,As much as Roy is an avarage manager or maybe a good small team manager only ,he doesn't deserve the waves of hatred and contempt people are showing him. Fans who think that with this set of players we are top premiership quality are maybe fanatic Fans of Liverpool but poor ignorant football fans. Everybody forgets that Roy was appointed while the 2 greedy :censored: still held the club ,he played with cards dealt to him in an atmosphere of total disapir on the field and outside the field ,so do you really think he could have done much much better?? Not one manager could have produced a leading team from the amount of avarage unstable limited bunch of players we currently have.

I'll never understand this, mate.  I understand hating twit and tw.at, as they consistently looked to feather their own nests at the expense of Liverpool Football Club, systematically undermining the club in the process.  That kind of thing deserves hatred.  Roy, on the other hand, is giving it his honest effort in trying to manage the club.  He's not succeeding and he does need to go--of that I am convinced--but I can't fathom how hatred enters into it with him.  Frustration?  Absolutely.  Impatience?  Understandably.  Embarassment?  Occasionally.  But hatred?  Really?  Roy's being whipped up into some mustache-twirling pantomime villain in a manner out of all proportion to his actual impact on the club.  IMHO, that's well over the top and does the storied reputation of Liverpool supporters no favours whatsoever.

Spot on.

How is my post about managers who I think can do a better job showing I lack integrity or show hatred or contempt ? I don't think Hodgson is good enough , I think we have a first 11 good enough to get into top 4 as shown in games against Chelsea ,Arsenal etc and I think those managers I names would all set the team up better and use better tactics that both suit the players and play to the strengths of our top players.

Bingo.  Simple really, and that is also why he was given absolutely no chance by a good amount of fans.

but which of them managers would come without at least 100 million  avallable so whats the point. Rafa dont count he came 7th and would finish lower than that this season if he was here.

And thats your opinion - you have no idea if they would come or not . While Rafa may off finished 7th last season do you not remember the season before when he was finishing 2nd or 3rd or 4th .
