Why do peoplethink he will undermine Roy, Roy is the manager , we are winning , he s doing his job, Surely thats enough for him to feel comfortable, Why Are the Rafa haters so scared of him going the match , he will just be sitting there watching the team, like me

Nanny - Souness was a consumate failure as a manager we all know and accept that. The more forgiving of us even understand some of the reasons why he failed. To refer to one of Liverpool's greatest ever midfielders in the way that you have confuses the life out of me. As a player he contributed  more to Liverpool than Rafa ever did and yet you continue to show your unstinting support for Rafa at every opportunity. Souness holds five Liverpool League Championship medals and three Liverpool European Cup medals. Admittedly he never won an FA Cup medal as a player but he did as a manager in 1992. They say football fans are fickle creatures and your comments certainly confirm that! Bit surprised at you to be honest Nanny as I generally enjoy reading your comments.

Are you off to Cyprus for Christmas to escape from this freezing weather?

You know what im talking about regarding Souness mate , so thats a non argument ,

An NO i wont be in Cyprus ill be at the matches ,

Sorry Nanny I don't know what your talking about with regards to Souness to justify referring to him as a sh.itbag !!

If your referring  to the fact that he was loathed as a manager during his two full seasons as manager when he won the FA Cup and achieved a runners up position in the league then it just shows what an incredibly hard act he had to follow.

Sorry Nanny whatever Souness says or does I will pay him the respect he rightfully deserves.

This is an ex Liverpool manager who wrote for The S*n ffs.

Great player, poor manager and even worse pundit. The audacity of him sitting there in the Sky studios and blaming Rafa for the "state he left Liverpool in" is quite frankly astonishing given his achievements when he was here.

He is an LFC employee so yeah i think that gives him the right.

Ben i understand how and what you mean, but my reply regarding Kenny . was he made it clear that he wanted the job, and that the people who they were looking at ,including Roy wernt up to scratch or suitable for the job, So does that make it conflict of interest with Kenny being there ,

Look i just cant see any problem if Rafa went the match. but thats just  me ,  what if they get him on sky as a pundit is that wrong an all,

People have there own opinions on this and mine is if he is in the city and he goes the game ,fine , thats all

Maureen has clearly proven he is a better manager, time to take the red spectacles off lads, Benitez is not the messiah.

Completely agree haven't  we more than  proved with the current manager to extreme levels ... that when it comes to suffering fools  LFC now have no peers  :D
and if its all the same to you I think I will continue to don my red specs until we get a manager worthy of usurping Rafael Benitez

"usurping Rafael Benitez", in all fairness, he didnt set the bar too high now did he?

Also, donning the red specs refers to supporting Liverpool regardless of the dives, dubious decisions etc. You on the other hand are not supporting the reds, indeed, you are hoping for abject failure in the hope Roy gets the boot. And as you have pointed out, Rafa has your love more than the club. Its not about a red goggles thing, its...now what did we call it when we were kids, oh yeah, glory hunting.

And how high is the bar then ?

Which bar are you picking ? the one from the whole of his time at the club or the one just from last season .

So just to confirm if we win the league under Roy is it ok for Rafa to come in the dressing room and say it's his team that won it?

He'd absolutely be welcome to come into the dressing room.  He could serve the drinks!  :idea

And that was only the season after he left. Same same, can't really see why people would kick off.

I dont think it was acceptable for Houllier to have come in the dressing room to be honest.
And i bet Rafa wasnt that impressed by it.
