No (He is making ashow of himself and us in the media)Ciggy wrote:boodiddy1 wrote:If we showed passion to Roy and the team as much as we do to each other in here then thats gotta be worth an extra 5-6 points a season!
Its not our fault Roys making most us of feel this way is it?
All it is on here is sarcastic remarks and smileys about Rafa's poor buys, poor results etc etc.
I havent seen once anything positive from the Roy Fan Club.
And theres a reason for that because there is no positives in his appointment.
IMO The new owners should have appointed the new manager not Broughton or Purslow, they are not experienced in the field to do so they are financial experts and not football ones.
Once twit & tw@t where gone that should have been the end of an era every Liverpool fan wants to forget, but its not and the reason is we got Roy in because he is supposed to get the best out of a group of players that where/are under achieving.
He was supposed to put an arm around the players and cheer them up within the first few weeks of the season he alienated Agger, Pepe's confidence is shot to pieces that he's been playing like David James and Torres is playing like one of them strikers that scores every once in a while you know the Marlon Harewood type.
I am not saying this because its Roy I would say it if it was another manager who I thought was not good enough to get us back up there challenging again.
He is trying to lower our expectations and the new owners like winning, he doesnt shut up in the media and gets a cob on when journos question him, and for an english manager he's spent less time working in England than a foriegn manager has.
He has not stayed at a club for longer than 2 seasons and theres a reason for that, its not because he was the most wanted manager around it was because he wasnt good enough and the clubs that he was at wanted someone better.
A liverpool manager does NOT say I dont give a monkeys if we are 18th or 19th a Liverpool manager doesnt say that Northampton Town are formiddable opponents.
Bill Shankly used to say see these lads these are shite and considering some of you think Roy is old school well his comments prove he is not.
All the things he was brought in to do he so far hasnt.
1. Arm around the shoulder. No
2. steady the ship. No.
3. Get us playing better then last season. No
4. Make the media love us againNo (He is making ashow of himself and us in the media)
So where are all these positives from his appointment? The only good player he has signed is Meirless. Apart from that he has failed in every single way.
And for our club to move forward with everyone all wanting the same thing, everyone pulling in the right direction means a world class manager with ambitions to match our own, who is not afraid of anyone needs to be brought in and until that happens then there remains serious problems with the club and the fans because Roy Hodgson is not the man to take our club to where it belongs and needs to be.

Jesus wept , it wasn't me sir it was him , no it was his fault sir . blah diddy blah . Anywhoooooo Roy apologised sort of , hopefully that's the end of his a rafa's little spat . Hopefully Royston will send out a good attacking side and take these apart from the start ,we no these italian side "don't like it up em " so lets get at them dads' army fashion . Very apt i must say .

boodiddy1 wrote:Pepe's confidence shot to pieces?? Why? cos he dropped one in the last minute of the first game were supporters confidence at the time was quite high? Since then, he's been good. Goals conceded have had nothing to do with Reina.
Alienated Agger? Because its so very bad for us to consider playing a culturally gifted left footed centre half at left back because we have no one else to play their. That what mangers get paid to do.
Agger himself will admit his comments were twisted and miscontrued. Furthermore, he's been alienated because he's injured!
The Roy Fan Club only put sarcastic remarks about rafa etc etc? What like your last comment in the Commolli thread. On yer bike roy, or something like that.
I aint in the Roy Fan Club, like i wasnt all anti-rafa. I liked the guy but towards the end he started to lose the plot. Similar to allez allez Houllier. 2001 i thought he was best thing since sliced bread. I just want the best for Liverpool and in doing so will back our manager and give him a chance. Something you and a few others just wont allow. For me, bringing up his mannerisms, twitches, speach etc is pathetic. But, crack on! Similar to me now thinking the spanish one is becoming twisted with his sugared priests drinking milk whilst sitting with his lamp.
How could the new owners appoint someone else instead of roy? They weren't here then. Did you really wan them to come in gung-ho like their predecessors and sack the manager straight away?
Torres is playing like the once in a while goalscorer like Marlon Harewood? Go give your head a shake! Fernando had a terrible world cup, due to injury, then has very little pre-season and continues to further struggle with his groin. Slowly but surely we have seen fernando getting closer. 2goals, 3 assists and im sure torres is gonna be firing shortly.
Carra and stevie believe he's gonna get it right, Meireles is happy here and many others are improving. A steady ship? after the turmoil of the last 3 years i'd doubt Jesus Christ could steady our ship so fast. Only 3 weeks ago we were on the front pages of every newspaper in the world for a whole week!
That will take time from everyone at the club.
He might not be the manager who gets us back to the holy grail. He might get us into europe, who knows. But, i just cant fathom out why so much hatred to a manager who has been here for 15 games.
Mancini has had whatever money he has wanted and yet they are playing europa football with us tonight. Myself and everyone who supports this great club has to be patient.
.
