but no one did jump at the chance... in fact in the months after Roys job a few came out saying they had turned it down

Bingo

And why would no top manager touch us Dawson - Because of the owners and the financial situation .

A major reason why i wanted Rafa to stay and to get rid of owners first and foremost and then look at the manager situation .

Instead money men decided to spend 9 million pounds on downgrading the football management of the club .

It was IMO a monumental mistake during the summer .

manager needed to go no matter what. Only one man had the bottle to take the job, so he deserves a little more respect than what hes currently getting.

Its only NO MATTER WHAT in your opinion - its not a fact - just like all the other specualtion that was attached to it .

As for current manager - well it depends what you mean by respect - all i have done is critisize his footballing choices and descisions on the pitch and certain things he has said in the press to a degree - BUT its on the pitch i have the problem

Does that mean im not showing him respect ?

[dawson99]

no, you show him loads of respect mate

Again with Rafa.... he had to go no matter what? In case we played worse that last season? Oh wait, we are!

sorry this is a Roy thread mate... we all have opinions.. mine is we needed change...badly

[Benny The Noon]

no, you show him loads of respect mate

The reason why im bringing this up is because a couple of days ago you lumped me in with all these people that are supposedly insulting the manager every day etc etc

Yet im pretty sure i dont insult the manager etc etc so please in future do not lump me in there .

[dawson99]

ok, i apologise, im sure the reason you dont post when we win is just coincidence, when you post i see it as you trying to wind me up, but you are the one in the right here all the time

I apologise my good friend

Go into the the match threads of the last two matches and you will see i have posted in both of the recent matches where we have won -

The reason why i didnt post straight away or during the match is simple - I was there at the match singing my heart out .

And while we are here you can go into the specifics on this different approach you mentioned elsewhere when looking to replace the previous manager - what exactly do you mean and what were you looking for .

I WAS LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT APPROACH!!!!!

ffs how many times do i have to say, i sw the approach last season, and thought we needed something different.. anything different. We needed the last manager gone. now we have Roy. roy will probably be gone but he took the vacant job when no one else wanted it, so fair play to him. he was lvoed at fulham and could have easiy stayed there under no pressure but he didnt, so fair play to him.

I know you wanted a different approach but can you not be a bit more specific - tactics, set up ,formation ,morale, transfers , etc .

ive said it about 20 times in different threads, stop being a f*cking retard please (i know you're trying to get me carded)

Morale, transfers, formation, all of it, we played bad football, he signed bad players, he lost the plot (all my opinion...)

im not saying it again

[Benny The Noon]

Jesus Dawson im not trying to get you carded at all - please calm down and actually read what im asking you .

Saying you want a different approach is very general and doesnt really say anything specific - there are various areas of management and various ways of managing or setting up a team , different tactics, different set up , different approaches to handling players .

So what approach did you want from a new manager AND are you currently happy with the approach we now have with our current manager .

[bigmick]

But in what sense daws Can't you give us any specific examples
