whats he saiyng now Bav, about Rooney
It's the full quote from the Torres bit but it all sounds like he is more interested in keeping his friendship with Fergie than saying what's right for Lfc.
Enough is enough.
"When a great player like Wayne Rooney is looking to leave his club, then you know Manchester United will be in a position to target a lot of players around the world. I don't think Fernando will be the only striker they target - and I don't think we will be the only club worried that their striker is in their sights.
'I am not naive enough to believe that there won't be any danger and we will never lose a player like Torres. I understand these things can happen. I don't believe we will lose him".

Youre angry because hes telling the truth? Right...?
My problem with his comments are that they were not needed.
He didnt even have to say he is not for sale.
We have Rooney coming out yesterday and saying he is leaving as he has been given no assurances about key players coming in to united.
So if i was Roy and was asked about Torres i would have laughed and said we have just had new owners that are taking our club forward.
Why would Torres want to join our rivals that now appear to be a selling club ?
And then leave it at that.

What does Cara mean by this? Sounds a strange comment to make, as if Hodgson is trying to impress the players rather than commanding their respect as he should be.
Maybe just a flipant comment that i've mis-read.

Guys,
These are simply not issues for Woy to express an opinion on.
The manager should seek direction from the board on these issues then give the company view. Its not Woy's club, he's not the boss and he doesn't 'own' a player. So why is he creating doubt?
Procedure guys, procedure.
