ROY HODGSON - Official Thread

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Roy must go NOW. We played 20% of our games and for those who want to give him few more games needs to know by the time comes, it would be too late and you wish you would have done it a lot sooner. Where is the improvement so far and what sign do you see that will give you the indication that we are about to climb upward? To simply put, we are fu,cked. For a manager to have so many international players in a team and yet the result are so disappointing after 20 plus game means it is not working. In normal circumstances, a manager will change things around and go with the best players. If you got beat, at least people can't blame you for not trying. Playing with the wrong tactics is one thing but by not even putting your best players in a sh.it tactics really means he has no clue in what he is doing. Not to mention the thing he said in the press. He is in his own state of mind and is in denial. I honestly thing now things has come to worse, he is really trying to get himself fired now so he can take the money after "8 games" and let us with a big mess. By his smile at the end of the game and also his way of acting so friendly with Fergie and other manager after a game was plain embarrassing. It wasn't a manager night out gathering in a bar. NESV, please do something NOW!!

Too late with subs, and usually goes for the safe option... Doesnt seem to read the game well prior to kickoff and during the game...
To be perfectly honest, he's done relatively well in the transfer market and seems to do well in press conferences but besides that offers very little in terms of tactical coaching and team setup...

I think he will get a few more games only down to the new owners not wanting to sack a manager so soon after taking over the club. Having said that if they did sack him tonight I don't think many could really argue he is being unfairly treated.

Hmmm, I was willing to give Roy a chance, but his after game interview just shows how DELUDED he is, he thought we dominated the second half, jesus christ, even Jamie Redknapp called it that we were shocking....

Would love to have Rafa back but I don't think he would come just yet, he is doing a job with Inter and if there 1 thing which describes Rafa Benitez it is dedication. If for some reason he leaves Inter in the future and we are at that time looking for a new manager absolutely I would say get him back! But I couldn't see him just :censored: off Inter to come back here, although I wish he would. I bet Stevie and Torres would be the first to hug him.

Benitez was part of the problem, not the solution

I'm talking about people at the game today and in previous weeks  not on the forum . 16 votes on a forum doesn't represent a majority of Liverpool fans

No "F ing" way I'd want him back.

If Roy does get fired, we need to move forward not back to the guy who built this squad of krap.
