There is no point in arguing with you though...you've made your mind up that this is all Rafa's fault even though you have been proven wrong.

How have I been proven wrong?

I said lets give the manager of LFC two seasons to see how he does in the job.

How can that be PROVEN to wrong?

Are you using the word "proven" the way some people use the word "fact"?

Also I didn't say we finished in the middle of the table. What defines mid table? there is no rule. We finished in the middle third of the table and that is a............well.........fact!

Going by your definations if we dont get into the CL then manager must go - you have already stated that it is very important yet you say previous manager was a failure yet he got us into cl 4 seasons out of 5 and also won it - yet your saying we should give manager more time even if we go mid table ? so why didnt you give previous manager another season to turn around his ONE bad season which is looking like a lot better season than we will get this year - basically all your posts point to a pure hatred for previous manager and you try and rewrite history and ignore every bit of good he did for us .

Benitez had 6 years and probably mounted just 1 league challenge.

Let's give Roy 6 years and a huge amount of money too, then we will be comparing like for like.

what  you wanna give him 6 years.. are ya havin a laff

Rafa would not have had the team loitering 3rd bottom. The problemo is that the team is all over the houses, there are no tactics.. and this is down to Roy..  like or not - Rafa's team were organised, rigidily may be. you'd nevva see the team looking like a joke as it is now.

Has roy got the ability to pull them out of this lull.. cos fighting relegation is a familiarity to him NO !

The owners gave benitez 38m to spend, he wasted it on Johnson and Acqua. That is why he was to blame.

Roy hasn't been given money.

The owners gave him no such thing , that money was from players sales and from monies owed to us .

Wrong you numpty, Rafa had to sell to buy... the owners didn't give to Rafa in his last 2 seasons...

Its like we cant say anything bad about him as he was/is a legan, but as manager he was really really bad sorry to say

But Kenny is a presence everyone respects, dare I say the players probably respect him more than Roy?

Anyway if you are going to talk about past records why not talk about the last english team Roy managed who had expectations of a top 6 finish.

The real fight is in the boardroom with the RBS refinance but until that is sorted we need someone who can hold it together. He surely can't do any worse than what Hodgsen is doing.

Portsmouth won the cup FFS! even WEst Ham were within a shoot out of doing it. It isn't much of an achievement - Manure didn't even bother defending it in 2000.

Even Souness won it as manager.

.. and how many have won the European CUP then BN?

You can rubbish it all you want, Man u didn't defend it cos they were forced not to, but winning it is still fanstastic.. because winning trophies is what we all want (I think) there are only 4 trophies to win domestically.. and we have to go fo all we can !

But hay lets diss Rafa .. again

He squandered it.

at least he didn't get us in the relegation zone...

your Roy, British manager, breath of fresh air, arm round the shoulder manager, did just that...

So selling Alonso (who he tried to get rid of for 10m the year before to part finance Gareth Barry) and replacing him with Acqua was good management? spending all the remaining budget on a full back that cannot defend was good management?
