Perhaps if you didn't spam the board with your wummery it would be easier to discuss issues in a more realistic and civilised manner.

It's true Benny. For ever one post the likes of I or other posters make, you will make 3 - stating the same old sh!t every time.

Anyway I think the majority (with the exception of the obvious) on here will give Roy the time and chance to get things going the way he'd like.

At the end off the day it won't be up to the fans how much time Hodgson gets , it's out of our hands and he will be supported .

The next two games is absolutely crucial, I've always demanded the win from rafa, and I'll demand the same from Roy! And if we do lose I'll look at the circumstances and defend the manager if I have to. What justifies lowering our expectations. The rafa bashers have said Roy will be an improvement but now they're getting into positions to make excuses. You know you are guilty of things that you accused others of now. Feckin hypocrits...

Benny you are either on a wind up in this thread or are the biggest hypocrit on the boards.
2 games away at Birmingham and united you are going to use as a stick to beat the new man you havent given a chance from the start  :no

I can see why you wind people up.

Ffs I wish people will actually read what I am saying instead of just accusing me of trying to find a stick to beat the manager - here it is nice and clear - I believe the next two games Hodgson has to get it right in terms off selection , formation and performance as I believe the results could be crucial towards the rest of the season in terms of pressure confidence and keeping touch with our rivals - I don't want to see us too far behind already this early in the season - what is the fecking problem with that ?! I'm not saying sack him if he doesn't win both or anything else I am being accused off and I'm certainly not wanting us to lose either game .

Even if we come seventh it will be an improvement on what would have happened if Rafa stayed.
I can see what youre doing with this " I support Hodgson but..." and its very silly. Every game is a "must win" until we dont win. Nothings changed. But to state that you hope that Roys up to it is to slyly undermine him without actually criticising.
We all know very clearly where you, ciggy, fauxy et al stand on Rafas departure and Roys appointment.
Time to move on. No?

Rafa has gone - no need to bring him up all time - move on

the next 2 games are very important though.  I know we've had a tough start but last season we lost 2 of our first 3 games and we pretty much collapsed after that.  Torres even admitted the team lost so much confidence cos they fell out of the title race so early.

i don't think Roy should/or will be judged overall on these matches but its still ok to point out if he does get things wrong.

For all the people saying that Roy needs time... yes thats true but its a luxury thats not always afforded at this level of football.
The majority of PL managers would lose their jobs if they lost 5 or 6 games in a row.

Of course, i don't believe for one minute that this will ever happen under Roy.

It's a strange thing, feeling that so early on, these next two games are so massive for us. And I agree with you on it. I've low expectations. I'd be surprised if we pick up 4 points.
