Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Is there a group?

I assume after reading your sig there is

I was/am pro Rafa but I am a LFC fan so will give Roy full support and I think we have an excellent spine although its a general malaise through the club which is definitely not Roys fault that is my concern.

Good luck Roy, overall its positive as far as his management has gone so far.  Man City cannot be ignored or papered over and I dont gp for Mash as an excuse there as he is now a top tier manager so in a way welcome to the big time and he knew the score taking the job.  But overall I like the guy and hope he does well

For the sake of this forum we have to look forward and that means giving Roy time and respect to make his mark but IMO shutting up about Rafa as some of the posts on both sides have been IMO CHILDISH  :p

That place was only ever interested in Rafa and quickly became a laughing stock amongst other football fans on the inet when people read that place. It was quite literally embarrassing, let's not go that way on here.

This place is also a laughing stock it becomes that way when people set up little groups for themselves high fiving each other.

With their I love Roy group.

And if you dont join said group you are not entitled to your own opinion, not a proper fan and get insulted for having an opinion etc etc.

It really is pathetic.

I am not part of any group im just being honest about the situation if people dont like honesty tough shit I dont really care !!!!

Your post is so full of irony
What makes it funnier is that you dont see it.
I dont love Roy. I dont even know the man. But he is our new manager warts and all. I could moan and gripe and point out his "deficiencies" as well as anyone. But whats the Fu*king point? This is he question you should really ask yourself. "What is the point Im trying to make and why?" We get it, we really do. So why go on and on and on? Try to be positive and see what it feels like. You never know, you might like it.
As far as "if people dont like honesty tough sh'it I dont really care" is concerned I have to disagree with you.
People who are honest do care. They care about the truth. Thats why they make great efforts to be honest.
Liars dont care about the truth. They care that people believe them but they dont care about honesty.
You are not a liar ergo you do care

I'm quite excited that we are going to have a game at last. That international break was way lame. I'm expecting all 3 new senior recruits to play; meireless, poulsen and Paul. Gerard will be behind Torres, on the right would probably be maxi and on the left jovanovich. Pacheco might make an appearance as a sub probably replacing maxi.

Birmingham is definitely winnable but its also a tough place to go so this will be an interesting game and I am looking forward to seeing Meireless in action.  Poulsson will be interesting as well as this is the type of game he could excell in.

Now we can't support the manager of LFC with a sig  :no perhaps an Inter flag would suffice.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

It amazes me that for the so called best fans in nthe land, we can't at least find it in our hearts to give the new manager a chance. That's the bit I really don't get. Regardless of what you think about the fella he replaced, surely the new bloke is worth a shot. Some people are sitting on the sidelines dying for him to fail so they can tell us they told us so.

It's the same all the way across the www. Mick mate. Pretty sad state of affairs if I'm being honest.

Im with you Mags, the international break coming so shortly after start of the season is always frustrating.
It will be interesting to see Roy's setup in away game against team which doesnt have the budget of the US military

Really looking forward to this

Theyre miffed because their man was shown the door for not being good enough. This leads to the attitude "if hes gone then the new man has to be better" and so the dissent, criticism and disrespect comes out.
The manager hasnt even had time to settle yet and anyone who is questioning the Royvelution deserves to get the pi'ss taken out of them

All thats happened is the Pro's and Antis have swapped sides the sooner people deal with these facts the better for all concerned.

This is getting really boring now everyones going around in circles.
