What we have is a run of the mill manager who has achieved precious little in 30yrs and whose concept of the game is anything but dynamic as evidenced by his tenure in Italy, Swiss and with Fulham. But he brings to the job a great personal warmth whose value, esp given where the club is atm cannot be underestimated. I will of course support him and hope/pray he proves my views totally mistaken...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Let's just hope it's not a drawn out tenure that quickly dampens any hopes and expectations and just feels like a living hell. I think it's fair to say Souness, Houllier and Rafa's tenures all lasted at least a season too long, although I'm sure many will jump on the fact that we finished second - broken down it wasn't as convincing as it sounds, even when you throw in "record points" for good measure

Nope, it means if you didn't have a problem you'd STFU about calling Woy "Woy"

So you think Ferguson, Ancelotti, Benitez etc would have done any better with the players Roy had at his disposal at Fulham last season? Just asking btw.

Meanwhile, reporters quizzed Hodgson on whether he was envious of the financial clout available to City boss Mancini.

But the boss replied: "I'm never jealous. I am in a position I want to be in.

"I am working for a club I have always wanted to work for, and I think it is for other people to be jealous of me - not for me to be jealous of other people.

"It would be very, very sad if someone as fortunate as I have been in my career starts getting jealous of other people."
