dont care Reg, done it before 2005 . Just a short journey to Istanbul ,then on to Trabson, bit of a nuisance though to be honest because upuntil a few weeks ago i could of flew direct from Cyprus to Trabson with Cyprus /Turkish Airlines but theve gone bust, And as he is already out thhere im gonna tell him to sort my flight out before i go out there meself next monday, Youll be suprised though because therell be a few people doing the same thing, especialy any Reds on holiday in Cyprus, its dead cheap from there , just cantwait now

I'm quite concerned about the number of games this competition entails, IIRC the commentator last night said it's 19 games to go all the way...

Weve played these before im sure of it , 1977 we won and all, i never went then ha ha didnt even know were it was , Ill tell you what though there a nasty shower of ba,stards there supporters, They hate Galatasary, everytime they play each other fans get shot,There loonys. so abit of advice to anyone whose gonna go, be careful and im serious,

Nan's right they have some hardcore ultras.

Generally the town itself can also be a bit dodgy late at night, especially around the port, loads of East european prozzies and their armed pimps.

Trabzon is closer to Iran than it is to Istanbul

Them were the days, an noone fecking moaned about tiredness . noone seemed to get injured or were frightend to say they were injured. for fear of not getting back in the team , and when you got tackled you got tackled, no big squads then either, I remember we used to go though a season with about 16 players in all comps. No luxary travel to finals just a train ride from hell, You couldnt beat the old football specials :laugh:
