they must know something about the club. Weve now recently signed 2 players wanted by others who are in CL positions... there must be more going on behind the scenes.. exciting times

I know fúck all about what crosses the mind of an english player but I don't think that they foresee anything fantastic like a take over with loads of millions injected to the club.

IMHO it's simply that Liverpool F.C. are Liverpool F.C., and playing alongisde Torres and Gerrard or Reina, is something very tempting for any decent football top player.

For instance, take Raul, he might well leave Real Madrid. Do you think his pride allows him going anywhere? no, he must go to a club with a reputation and a name. Liverpool fulfills that, most of the teams do not.

Ddue thats bollox... no way would Joe Cole take us over a top 4 club with the age he is now unless we are moving ni the up direction. If we were in severe dire straits he wouldnt sign a 4 year contract where wed be be struggling for UEFA cup spots

Same with the young Gers lad. He wants to make a mark, go to a club going places

Over the next 4 years, Cole stands a far better chance of WINNING TROPHIES with LFC than with Spurs or Arsenal.
